I was supporting Runefags before the NUNS corruption shit came out. It's even harder to refute now though.

How can such a large organisation claim control over a sector it cannot even devote resources to protecting. I mean hell there's a Var threat that was appearing at any time and causing heaps of destruction and public disturbance.
They're either unwilling or incapable of protecting the sector.

Runefags on the other hand were born here and inherited the greatest gifts of the protoculture. There's no argument as to why they shouldn't have their independence and next to none as to how worthy they are to rule the sector.

Honestly I think you're misinterpreted Mikumo's personality. Mikumo is a very complex character and her development is given very subtle.

Mikumo is a girl who is very confident in her skills and knows her place in Walkure. She doesn't have any memory of growing up and only has an urge to sing. This info helps to explain why Mikumo doesn't care about anything apart from singing. Mikumo cares a lot about the members of Walkure, however she is very stern. Take the incident with Freyja as an example. She cares a lot for Freyja but she wants to see her excel, even if it means being aggressive. Even with Kaname, she shows that she cares. She listens to orders from her, she respects her and is comfortable enough sharing her lack of background with her. Mikumo is a person who you grow to understand. I'm sure everyone here has that one friend that might come across as somebody you wouldn't want to be friends with but they are really caring and just a different kind of person. Mikumo also doesn't know how to express her emotions, or has an understanding of what they are. They only way she knows how to express her emotions are through singing, which correlates with Messers funeral and Freyja's birthday. If you genuinely felt she stole the show, that's good silly.
