Can someone explain this?

Can someone explain this?

Laziness.

is it really?

I don't get it.

Back then studios had more than one week to produce an episode, animators working for Toei weren't literal slaves and BD sales didn't determine the amount of effort put into a show.

Everything has gotten worse since 2007

nowdays its all digital

The art looks like that even in the video games

I remember seeing it look like that on my ps2 tenktaiki game and thinking wtf is this? why are they drawn so stupid? this isn't how dbz art is supposed to look

A good answer on your part, but not satisfactory for me. I think it's just the style animators use now days

Both look like shit

the left one is so much more clear and crisp. What happened in the 90s?

>tenktaiki

A-are you okay, user?

You can't seriously expect 3D japanese models from the ps2 era to have the same level of detail than 80s-90s anime.

No I meant the drawings in there. Not the models

like on the main screen and menu and shit like that

Animated openings? 2D animation is expensive, so Animated Openings in videogames have very limited budgets. Look at the one in XV, it's pretty shitty looped animation.

Awww you poor little Zfags.

Can't admit that the left is a clearer, more crisp, and overall better-looking? Must be hard being blinded by rose-tinted nostalgia glasses and shitty Bruce Falconer soundtracks from Toonami.

Nice cherry picking

>DBZ's animation was a perfect 20/10

Left looks fine.

Z has better animation but Super has better art overall.

No seriously, Z's art is fucking awful because it had the same two shitty animators doing half of the episodes.

...

I have to say I hate 'plastic' look of modern DB

>those animators messing up every episode they are in charge of

Because Uchiyama's down syndrome artstyle in DBZ is sooo much better, right?

Zfags really are the worst.

both look good desu
