It was because of this page and a few people calling it edgy that I just kinda of ignored Dorohedoro for months, I regret everything, finally caught up and this shit is fucking great.

I'm not really into that genre but I really had a good time rereading the manga while listening to it, now I appreciate that stuff a bit more. It suits Dorohedoro mood perfectly. I agree on the topic of most anime having pretty much the same music but it's also true Q. Hayashida didn't run any risk choosing unusual music while you're betting much more money when producing an anime.

Dorohedoro is the exact opposite of edgy in the sense that it portray a lot of violence and gore but without any kind of angst or in a juvenile fashion. The contrast between the cherfulness and happy-go-lucky attitude of the whole cast and horrible situations they face is what makes this manga so great.

Wish I had known this existed a few months ago when I read the manga. It fits so well.

Why so? Everything was foreshadowed, the only clusterfuckery going on is Nikaido's time magic.

What about it? I thought everything has been fitting in quite nicely, had to susped my disbelief for a few things throughout the series but it still feels more planned out than most manga.

Honestly the only people I think could do a decent animation would be the people that made SuperJail

My only issue is that the infodumping is really thick and that's a boring way of revealing mysteries.

I'm not sure if the [Viz] scans were always available or if they were only scanned in April, but that's when I read the manga and I'm glad the quality was high.

I think this manga may have been going under the radar because it probably looks like shit in low quality scans.

Oh shit two dorohedoro threads in two days. This woman is based. The art style and situational comedy that subtly drives the drama is effortless in its excellence. One of the rare manga that just flows forward and keeps you entranced the whole time in the world.

It's been getting a little hard to follow with fuckery but I'm still digging it. We always knew nikaido had skills besides gyoza. And HOLE is pretty easy to understand in a "the land becomes sentient and seeks revenge" sort of way.

In my top five favorite mango. Love how beefy some of the women are. Appealing and strong? The whole thing really stands on its own and never tries to be more than it is, which is pure magic hijinks and character comedy. Someone dump images and keep the thread alive, I'm at work.
