EE because utility companies have good job stability

Mechanical Engineering

I want to make robots so I can use them to annex Germany and Austria

Noble plan my ayran dude!

>programmer
>want to become a ethical hacker.

economics

>getting (((educated)))
No thanks, user, my skills speak for themselves without some jew giving me a stamped piece of paper.

>Business Economics and Law

Just some meme business degree major.

I dropped out of highschool in grade 10 to work in concrete.

Ended up working out well. I do artisan concrete work and brick laying. Just started as a private contractor and I made over six figures this past year. First in my family to ever do that.

Finance, out jew the jews

>I'm scared of being unemployed
I look forward to being homeless. Then I don't have to worry about it anymore.

I loved economics but I hear it's a really exclusive field and most companies that aren't really big don't use economists. Maybe it's just the culture I could be wrong since they work for an asian company and all they care about is accounting/finance, operations management and all the other technical stuff like computer programmers etc.

My brother.

>accounting
>3 year degree to learn a skill that can be learnt in less than a month

Nothing. I'm a high school dropout, so I'm stuck working at Walmart for the rest of my life.

going to grad school for crop science

youtube.com/watch?v=QnR5bDxrn2Y

evolutionary biology because muh feminism and muh immortality.

>muh college meme

Jokes on you, accounting is the first white collar job to be replaced by programs and automation

English, comfy teaching job

yes brother

Poli Sci -> Law

Construction Management

After 3 years in the field, figured it was worth it for a substantial bump in pay, and very uncucked, not pc professors that all own or owned their own contracting companies at one point.

Wow. Those kinda skills will never go away however I feel it only is really good in first world countries and in 2nd and 3rd these types of people make shit pay

Finance is good. That + accounting is god tier since they go hand in hand
Who is the barrel guy?

Just handed in the last of my assignments today, in 3 weeks I'll be a dementia care specialist.
It's good work, there's lots of it and it can never be automated.

Dropped out with like 3 credits left for accounting to go work in my freinds vidya company

It's pretty comfy and I got enough money to not worry about rent for the next 2 years

Marketing because I want a job.

I got made fun for having this meme degree, but ended up with a good job.

Majored in Petroleum Engineering. Had two years working for big oil, got sort of pissed about how they're handling the current glut, moved into energy management and making about the same.

Father of cynicism

It's the filename, Kiwi.

You think there are many people who got away with telling a Caeser to quit throwing shade in your direction? Google it you gas huffing discount gorilla.

Women's Studies

Because I'm a proud male feminist that punches nazis.

what job?

I'm fully aware its a meme but it's just a means to get to law school

electrical engineering with dual major in comp sci
because i wanted to do quantum mechanics but no jobs there, so making do

Philosophy.

Theater, because I want to be an actor and fuck having a job and food.

>plug a chicken
every time

This is what I'm looking to do later on.

All I can say is that the meme is real. Now I'm too old to start anything from the absolute bottom, unless I willingly want to experience age bias/discrimination.

Criminology, I want to be a police detective because it seems like a fun job. I enjoy dealing with people's bullshit.

Energy management or petroleum engineering? I'd recommend the former before the latter.

Physics
because truth

>unless I willingly want to experience age bias/discrimination.
Yeah, you fucking do that or you quit bitching about working at walmart. Own up to your shit, cunt.

applied math and economics

because (((shekels)))

>inb4 automation
You mean like agriculture or synthesizing new plants? Crossbreeding?
As a?
What even is that?
College isn't a meme if you choose the right thing. In the right field, someone with a Bachelor's makes more monies at every stage compared to someone without one. Unless your self employed then it's a different story
inb4 automation
:)
Aren't they both equally shit? I know a lot of commerce people who combine a commerce degree with a law one or an art degree with law so it sounds really prestigious but the problem is it's NZ law so you'll 100% be dealing with Maoriniggers about muh stolen land and has no use outside NZ.
Technical anything is a good career. You have people who actually know what the fuck they're doing and it's not subjective so you either do it right or you're wrong

In dental school, was bio major

for the shekels

Being homeless is fine if you can get a steady income somehow.
Some people in the UK and some parts of the US will actually pay you to be a hermit on their property for some reason, I wouldn't trust them though.

>land surveyor
>just want a good fucking job that gets me outside
half the fucking course is about not getting sued

>implying that the majority of pol aren't neets...

Out of curiosity, what are the demographics like? My father graduated from NW 30 years ago but claims it's near impossible to get in anywhere nowadays if you're white or male.

Biomedical Science to spring-board into medical school.
I wanna do research to revolutionize how we look at anti-virals and then move on to curing cancer.

>majoring in something and not being graduated already

i want to see more dead sandniggers and niggers in the deserts on livestream, stop helping them out fucking dumbasses

youtube.com/watch?v=QnR5bDxrn2Y

fucking noob

>economics
>its interesting and Im premed so major doesnt matter at all

Started off with this. Now I'm dreading the future as there's shit opportunities of making money unless you go for a PhD and even then it's crap.

Comp Sci, I like it.

>As a?
Overnight associate. There are no promotions at this store. Only 4 people have moved to hourly (not salaried) management positions.

Just the state of things of your humble correspondent. The amount of time I've been here, I have to own up to it.

>unless you're self employed
That's not the weird thing, you fucking mong. A (((certain))) kind of people sold you muh education meme and steered you away from what was the social norm for thousands upon thousands of years. Live off your own sweat, don't let someone else live off yours.

>machine learning
>if the technological singularity is going to happen, I at least want to be close enough to it to sneak in some code that says "don't dispose of this particular meatbag"

you can certainly get in as a white male. demographics vary by school but theres a generally diverse group of students everywhere. I'm an indian male and didn't have problem getting in.
Also good DAT good GPA and youre in

negro_logy

youtube.com/watch?v=QnR5bDxrn2Y

this is fake, that sort of thing CANNOT happen

same here leafbro

Fine Art

>Was going for history because I love it.
>Changed to economics because history majors make shit money
>Still think I'm screwing up my future

Well you're not going to be doing any of that in medical school. If you want to do "curing cancer" and anti-virals, you need a graduate degree.

That's good to hear. Several of my contemporaries had issues getting into med school so I wasn't certain if the application BS had affected dental schools as severely. Have fun doing implants, they paid for my college.

Awsome, we need more non kike lawyers

Energy management. I live just north of Calgary, and I'm just wrapping up a Bachelor of Commerce degree. I have an in to (hopefully) get a job in the professional business end at a medium sized pipeline services company upon graduation to get my foot in the door of the energy sector field, and then maybe work towards an MBA with a focus on managing natural resources/energy, and then if all goes right move into the energy management field in a big firm, or start consulting.

Computer science

It's piss easy and someone has to maintain the robots that take all of our jobs

pretty redpilled, better than humanities
very anticommie which is nice for being in the belly of the beast(ottawa)

Traps ..to see if they are gay

Chemistry with some mechanical engineering added for taste.

In it for the sheckels.

Biomedical science. Am I degenerate? (doing cancer research as my project)

porn producer

as long as you don't fall for the Keynesian bullshit, at least

Any engineers bros/ other STEM figures that make shekels in this thread that started off with a Physics degree? How easy is the transition?

Bio medical engineering, I wanna see how far man and machine can go, who knows could be what leads to the cure of crippling, also learning the stock market on the side for extra shekels

I'm two years into a compsci degree. I don't really enjoy programming but if I finish the degree and end up not liking the work, I can still get a IT job right?

Geology. Because I like rocks and want to work in the outback doing cool shit.

PS I got a job a week after graduating and am making serious coin.

I think if you have connections and know what you're doing, go for it. Remember that a degree doesn't guarantee anything, it just shows you've done something. Of course not all degrees are equal.
Marketing has a lotta prospects by the problem is (as my lecturers say) you know how much you spend, the timeframe etc but you can't quantify it's success/failure (how much product will it sell etc) and that's why it's so expensive but unfortunately a lot of companies need marketing.
>got sort of pissed about how they're handling the current glut
What do you mean by this? You mean administration? The clients, how the company's run?
Apparently that is also an accounting stereotype
oh
:'(
Right. I'll be sure to smile everytime I see you to not be punched??
FUck me it's like people who say "I don't know weather to be a mechanical engineer or doctor so I did both". Please let me touch you so your smartness can rub off on me
Is it true that you need at least a Masters?
Art is synonymous with poverty
Is this the same as criminal justice? Law sounds like a good thing but the problem here is it's NZ law and we're irrelevant as fuck
That sounds good. Can you be like an actuarial person?
Medical anything rakes in big $$$$$$$$$$$

Good plan. Oddly enough the company I'm in doesn't give a shit for the MBA (even though I sort of want one). The difference I guess is that we're primarily downstream. I probably only got hired because I knew gas scheduling.

If you work pipelines really look into scheduling because many management/trading companies think you're smart even though you're just typing a number and hitting a button every day.

Natural gas seems to be the way thing are moving, so take any excuse to work with it to build up a resume. The firm I'm in is mostly Mech-Es and Finance majors so they really like having somebody who knows gas mechanics and processing. You should be set so long as you get that job.

IT is a completely different field, there's much less overlap than you'd think

>Physics degree
How's that callcentre job?

Yeah, I'm aware. Still just a junior in undergrad right now - but will get deep into biological chemistry in later years. Will end up with a PhD and MD probably from Stanford.

I'm not looking to join the "curing cancer" meme for money, I could care less about being wealthy - But when I look at how cells work on a chemical level it blows my mind that we still can't target and neutralize specific cell clusters as easily as a one time shot/injection at the target site or a single round of pills.

>cuckolding
>flag

Physics
I like the idea of getting paid tax money to smash some atoms contributing to some vague understanding of overly specific questions of extremely limited if any practical use to society.

ME so I can become a rocket surgeon.

Same! if you study in America we may meet someday - I'm hoping to go to Stanford for graduate school.

I completed a bs in chemistry and now I'm moving into pharmacy

>gender studies
>my girlfriend said she would leave me if I didnt do it.

you're aware physics bsc/ms/phd all rank in the top five in lifetime earnings for their respective categories in america, don't you? of course you do but you're a jealous brainlet.

I did my undergrad in physics, doing grad in applied math.

Computer engineering. I enjoy working on hardware; circuitboards and the like.

Well that's not what I wanted to hear. I guess I have some thinking to do on whether or not I want to waste the rest of my GI bill on something I don't think I like

Im thinking of heading off to Germany after I finish for a masters degree, but it'll be on cancer and immunology so the chances are pretty slim we would, but I can guarentee we'd probably read scientific journals published by each other!

I did one year in culinary
trained for 3\
opened my own restaurant
make 300k a year
too many hours though

Poli sci and French
Hopefully law school after

That's electrical engineering.

CS because ez money

Nothing, because I didn't have the prerequisites for a good business or STEM program and I'm sure as hell not doing a humanities meme degree.
