Actually now that I think about it, Mirage is purple.

Purple is a combination of red (Freyja red walkure) and blue (Hayate blue delta) and she has been shown to "mother hen" over both Hayate and Freyja.

Her sacrificing her life to save them wouldn't really be unrealistic.

Freyja/Mikumo actually has something to work with. It has more basis than Mirage's main relationship which is canon and heterosexual. That's how lame Mirage is.
