How do I protect loose obi strips/cards from becoming damaged while in a collection on shelves? I have a few which wrap around the case in both orientations, around the top and around the sides, making them impossible to just unfold and place inside the case with the booklet.

Obi is the autism I gave up on. It's uncomfortable to read with them on and it looks like there is no way to keep them perfectly safe.

In most cases it's clear the obi will fall right off or become damaged from being unshelved too many times.

I can think of three solutions. One would be to saran wrap the entire release and never open it again, another would be to flatten the obi and store it in an envelope to keep safe somewhere, or go searching the entire internet for some kind of plastic protective slipcases.

I can't find mention of it in the guide.

Bishoujos are nice. Fairly simple figs, but usually good for the price. Pretty solid for a first purchase without having done research.

Koto is mid range. Not the gold standard, but also not complete shit. You could've done way worse.
