Post office are heroes. They know physical locations of all addresses. They need entire grid rebuilt. Over 50,000 poles, and 3000 miles of transmission line. That is just to restore electricity. Currently at about 16%. After Katrina we had people living in FEMA trailer parks for years. It will take years for them to totally recover also.

They are massively in debt, because they try to live like Americans, but don't have the infrastructure, resources, or work ethic. As such, they resent Americans and want to have our rights while not being a part of our actual nation.

My water service returned. Although the water is coming out white due to purification chemicals. Drinking water requiers going to my local Sam's (fucking love Sam's, the lines are reasonable during the crisis and theres generally less arguments)
My electricity came back last week and my internet provider claro activated a couple of days after the hurricane.
A couple of electric substations, lota if roads where damaged or blocked, some water pumping stations exploded I think, and lota of other things. The specific damages have mostly been kept in the dark.
