Black communities in the US are known for being homophobic and religious. The reason they have higher rates of HIV is from sharing needles and prison rape, and after that it still spreads through straight sex because they can't afford / refuse to use / don't know to use condoms (and this can be seen through how many unplanned pregnancies these communities have). Things are much more complicated than "gay = aids"
