Thanks user.

Some pretty obvious foreshadowing. I wonder what the manga is actually going to build up to.

my cute elf can't possibly be a necromancer!

This won't end well.

So Marcille wasn't just useless meat after all!

She was never useless.

>Monster souls aren't bound to the dungeon, only human ones are
RIP half-dragon Farlyn theory?

very small chance a dragon might be considered something more than just a mere monster but at worst we have Dragorn Farlyn now

She'll always be useless meat in my heart

>Next chapter in October.

That's bullshit.

The dragon is actually that black kid on the painting. It remember Laius. Now Farlyn share her body with it, trying to prevent it from killing her brother.

The rest of the story is Farlyn trying to stand up against the dragon and her PTSD while showing the dragon what love mean.

It was translated in a thread here, too.

I suspect our spiritual Farlyn saw something during her death that will encourage everyone to go even deeper in order to destroy the dungeon for good.

So is Farlyn eating dragon considered cannibalism?

Don't forget cooking the dragon.

>Farlyn coughs up blood
>Laius stabbed the Dragon in the throat
>Keeps her right eye closed
>Laius stabbed the Dragon in the right eye

Yeah I think there's something fishy here.

Kill the necromancer.

she's useful meat for fucking

>resurrections are usually done using goat or pig meat

I'll choose Dragon meat instead, thank you.

Never trust an Elf!

>Marcille
>useless
Things Marcille did:
>stunning spell saved them from the treasure bugs
>tricked the orcs into sharing their food with them
>small expolosion spell saved Laius from a ghost
>made water walking possible
>washed Senshins hair and made him appreciate magic a bit more
>fend off the bladefish with an explosion
>waterwalk spell was used against the kraken
>it was her idea how to kill the undine
>was a great friend to Farlyn
>protection spell saved everyones ass against the dragon
>healed wounds quite easily
>resurrected the imouto
Every thread until it stops

this niggamancer right here was complaining about eating monsters taking some sort of stance against it.

>It remember Laius.
Then what about Chilchak, Marcille, and knowing who Laius sister is?

>Next chapter in October.

(the oct issue comes out in sept) welcome to magazines

>Thinking you can stop institutionalized elf bullying

The losers are in the neighboring table

Well yeah, if you could bring corpses back from the dead using more corpses, why would you ever just EAT a corpse?

I've loved her since chapter 1 but this really was a great scene for Marcille.

>cooking
We are back on track. So where do the author go from here?

Wouldn't eating dragon meat be cannibalism for Farlyn?

If you got a pig heart transplant would you stop eating pork?

I love how Laius has precise knowledge of things which involve monsters but not people. He knew the configuration of worg skeletons but not human skeletons. Earlier, back in the lake area when they found the dead jobber party, Laius immediately recognized the beastman but not the human bodies. Basically if it's not a monster then Laius doesn't pay attention.

The imouto arc introduced the mysteries that surrounds the dungeon but a lot of it was never solved. Now that the reader knows as much as the party about the dungeon by diving as deep as they did, they can now start to discover why the dungeon appeared, how it works precisely and who made it so.

"She sure has beautiful bones"
I swear Laius sounds like a serial killer sometimes

I love how killing and eating the dragon makes the group the de facto apex predators of the dungeon's ecosystem.

The dragon was stabbed in the left eye.

Hell, Chilchak have more sensitive hearing but its Laius that have the capability and knowledge to tell the difference between monster sounds.

Also, the best mage school student shows off her fang at last.

>The dragon was stabbed in the left eye.
by chilchak via dagger throw

>time to transition into serious complex idea of dungeon adventure
here we go

So, the already chosen/gifted heroine Farlyn is now half dragon?

Deep dungeon aside, there is still side story in surface about the struggle for "ownership" of the dungeon itself between the human governor and the elf kingdom.

Monsters are beautiful creatures, you have to understand him.

This is seriously one of the better manga I have read in years.

>The group beats the final boss as the drama on the surface comes to a head
>It's bordering on war, armies are assembled
>They stumble out of the dungeon, caked in blood, gore, and offal, smelling like month old garbage
>They present the Deed to the land
>it belongs to Senshi

Make it happen

Magic has no morals, m8. It just is. She, herself, said as much.

I can't wait for the inevitable anime adaptation and the subsequent explosion in popularity.
There'll finally be something fun to recommend to casuals that's also excellently written.

I wasn't clear on what the difference is between what Marcille's Dark Magic is and "vanilla" resurrection magic.

Up. They still need to get the hell out of dodge.

What's stopping you? Why would anime make any different?

Some people refuse to read.
Frustrating, I know.

>It was translated in a thread here, too.
fuck, how did I miss that

She used a spell that was illegal according to the laws of the land.

Why was it illegal? We don't know yet.

The staff absorbed her blood and grew roots. How scary.

Oh god i can see it. It's death flag for the sister. She will die no matter what and she can't be resurrected anymore.

I love the setup of Marcille in that panel as she does the necromancer reveal. Slightly reddened eyes, either from tears or blood and that anxious and tired tired look as she unveils her secret, all the while framed by a dark flesh gate cut into dragon hide. The artist does a great job with Dungeon Meshi.

>implying it isn't the elf that will suffer
It was her blood after all that she used for the circle. I bet that she will pay the price for this spell.

You actually see her rubbing her eyes a few panels early, accidentally smearing dirt over her eyes.

It's very nice setup for visual language.

...

Sureau is a strange name for a Samurai.

I like the idea that they're celebrating finally getting to eat the dragon, rather than the resurrection of the MC's sister

Don't know if want. Black magic is always bad news.

>October 15
I wish i can hibernate like a bear.

How did Farlyn even know Senshi?

It's probably "Surou" - which is a normal Japanese name according to google.

Or it is "Surau" - which means slough. Not very heroic.

She didn't, that's why they're introducing him in that same page.

Now I feel like supreme idiot. Thank you for pointing out.

I hope you haven't read the entire series left to right, because if so you must have been incredibly confused.

Are halflings alcoholics?

Soo/reh/ah/oo, I imagine. 「スレアウ」
All the names in Dungeon Meshi are straight katakana with the exception of Kensuke, who has 助 for kicks.

Traps are doing this to you.

>bones

...

Tolkien Hobbits love to drink and smoke weed

He is an expert on "traps", huh?

Cute.

W-what do you mean?

Sureau is a french name for a kind of plant.
fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sureau

This is kinda fucked up, something bad's gonna happen with this fucking resurrection, dawg.

missed that too, damn

It's still in archive.

Man, Marcy does hide some dark stuff behind that ugly face.

>Dan John Meshi He No Michi Meikyu to Mamono to Shiko No Go
What is this ?

>ugly

the proper translation is out too

So fucking turned on right now.

...

I can see imouto getting dragon powers from being revived using dragon flesh.

I don't know, this doesn't really seem like the sort of series for power ups.

Shut up you ugly dwarven manwhore.

The joke will be that they're barely useful since they're incredibly scaled down.

Great chapter. I'm pretty sure Farlyn wasn't resurrected correctly. She actually has her eyes open now!

Also, evil sorceress Marcille works too well. I doubt people will use this as a reaction face though.

Kui is a really talented artist. The stuff she pulls off really well tends to be low-key though.

Marcille did pass out before finishing. But I really was expecting that it was going to be someone else and that there was a different dragon.

Siscon

how many monsters has he killed?

Now that Farlyn's already back, when is the samurai ever coming into the picture? Didn't he set off to rescue her with his own party before Laius had even woken up back in the first chapter? He's taking his sweet time getting here.

>Scaled
Heh
