The current signs are already telling us that the next recession is going to result in a Great Depression worldwide.
>Loans to private sectors have dramatically surpassed 2007 levels >Housing index is more overinflated than it was before the 08 crash >Interest rates have been near zero percent for the past eight years >During this time everyone was taking out loans and racking up massive amounts of debt which they can't pay back >Tech, student loans, housing, auto loans and derivatives are in a massive bubble >Central banks can't use the same solution in 08 to make everything look fixed
The 1929 Depression happened because banks kept on lending money to speculators to prop the stock market and economic confidence up. For the past few years the Federal Reserve has been pouring money into the stock market and bonds to try to make everything seem fine after the previous shitstorm
Millenials are FUCKED They're FUCKED They have no savings, no skills, no discipline, no jobs, no ethnic unity, no national pride, no integrity, no muscles, no spouses, no God, and no hope. When the second great depression hits it will KILL US ALL

Except the economy already is in a mass depression
Jason Powell
Where do you want to go with this?
Justin Perez
>not posting the M2 and M3 shadow stats

Evan Hall
Writing a paper predicting the next major financial crisis. I was going in a similar direction with financial institutions causing another crisis in the same breed of the great depression and the 2008 crisis from being out of control and creating a bunch of imaginary money for speculation, and the system will eventually collapse when no one can pay the bill.
Michael Sullivan
Well I can tell you one thing for sure
(spoiler)Millenials are FUCKED(/spoiler)
John Thompson
Communism will win
Jacob Walker
Stop blaming millennials when late boomers fucked this world up
Nolan Evans
It will be a major fiasco for America and most of the world.
Do you think it will it lead to China coming out in a much better position and turning their investment inward and looking for other places to invest and export goods?
Are the current stock market highs all part of the speculative bubble?
Aiden Thompson
Ok ill try to give you some good info. This is literally one of the biggest rabbit holes you can go down because no one truly understands real world economics. There are just a lot of theories. You can go down the conspiracy theory route if you start getting into the FED.
Connor Young
That's about right There's a lot of info on why and how the next crash will be the big one. Basically the Fed and Central Banks pumped billions into derivatives, the stock market and lowered interest rates to zero to encourage spending. All of these things produced a fake euphoria in the public since we assumed the whole 4% unemployment and high S&P were signs of the good times while in actuality our GDP growth has been below 3% since 2007.
So either they'll keep inflating these massive asset bubbles until they break down and cause a panic on Wall Street or they'll raise interest rates to a healthy state which will then lead to millions of Americans going bankrupt since we're already massively in debt.
Brandon Richardson
Everybody's fucking insolvent! I recommend killing yourself now. Once the reset comes, and your dynastic wealth is rehypothicated, they will come after you for your school loans and probably rape you to death. Be very afraid.
Chase Martin
chinas debt would be considered cataclismical in the west
yet for some reason (public investment, crackdown on the rich, completely control on the digital economy) they seem to be literally immune to economical crisis
just see their stock exange collapse the past year, they are just fine now, it would have destroyed any other economy
china seem in shape to rule the ashes >they have the biggest banks in the world now >made in china 2025 initiative >massive investment in tecnology
specially in a world when you cant bomb them because would be the end of the world
>7% gdp growth confirmed for second semester JUST
Jace Peterson
I like the conspiracy route of central banks / cartels of powerful bankers engineering crises to cause collapses and pick up the pieces and weakened firms at a bargain price, and profit in the long run, but I'd like to stick more to orthodox theories for the paper.
Jason Lewis
If the Great Depression happens again in this political climate, America will break up. I am 100% positive.
Cooper Gutierrez
Fuck California
Jason Sanchez
also
>the silk road >they are literally taking control of the indian market >debt traping key countries >massive surveilance tecnologies, china will never see a revolution again >and now their next war on the petrodolar

lol
lol
Brody Nguyen
Unlikely. The deep state are so good in breaking up other countries, they already have counter measures for when firebrands trying to divide us up. I pity the fools Soros tricked into trying it though.
Owen Allen
Here's the real redpill for westerners, we're fucked because we don't produce anything to sell any more. It's not like we cam even produce local goods to offset a recession by generating local markets. We're talking millions of office workers that have no marketable skills other than making excel spreadsheets and going to lunches. They can't even keep a fucking pot plant alive half the time.
If this system collapses, you'll see shit go south real fast.
Jonathan Reed
Derivative trading is still unregulated?
Does our debt factor into this at all? Paying off 300$ billion a year to various banks just for interest doesn't seem viable.
If massive unemployment, defaulting on loans, and bankruptcy happens could the tax base shrink enough to cause a debt crisis or loss of confidence from foreign investors? Would we be faced with austerity and ending social programs?
Also if Trump goes through with corporate income tax reduction we'd be even more out of balance.
Samuel Carter
These two are correct.
I couldn't give a shit about the world the Boomers ruined. I'm interested in carving out something new from the ashes.
Nolan Wright
Its like i'm back in 2008
Anthony Thomas
There will be great defation event followed by inflation going into the next economic cycle.
The MSM does NOT publish this, and instead pushes the likes of Trump and Brexit as the cause of any economic woes.
Interest rates have been at all time lows since the financial crisis, people are in debt like never before, and the central banks have no room to manoeuvre.
Read this article and prepare yourself anons, it underlines exactly this.
your sentiment is as planned. goood goy...give up....
Landon Hughes
i think it starts tomorrow and we have weeks.
Kayden Peterson
Everyone's been predicting economic collapse, and it has yet to happen...what makes this time different?
Ayden Adams
wake up.
Alexander Watson
Soros just poured 18 billion into his (((charities))) too. I am not one to ever say this, but its fucking happening
Hudson Perez
THIS TIME IT'S DIFFERENT
Collapse seems inevitable when you have runaway banks investing in imaginary financial instruments and relying on debt repayment as an asset, just keep predicting a collapse and it will eventually come.
Nathan Gutierrez
your proposed solutions are taken into account. thank you for your constructive input
Caleb Jones
>I was going in a similar direction with financial institutions causing another crisis
> I'd like to stick more to orthodox theories for the paper
Not going to lie, that is going to be difficult, but I would stick to FED statistic then and inflation calculation equations to try to back claims up. Obviously the FED has increased the monetary base exponential to try to keep people to spend money.
TLDR on inflation is monetary supply x how fast it changes hands (velocity). The Fed can only change one of these factors since they can't force people to spend money. They can only print or create it. Velocity is at an all time low, but has recently started to pick up.
This is starting to get lengthy, but I would recommend Mike Maloneys series called Hidden Secrets Of Money. He is selling precious metals so keep that in mind when watching it, but its some good info that is easy to digest. If your short on time check out video 6 in the series. I think its the best.
Anyone got any ideas on how to get rich off this when it inevitably happens?
Xavier Richardson
Well, he's going to fucking die sometime soon. So I guess he wants to make sure his little drone of a son can continue wrecking the planet once Satan himself shows up to drive him home.
Connor Mitchell
Lol Boomers are fucked, they have no savings and what they do have is tied into the stock market. Those retards will have nothing after the 2nd Great Depression, the only retirement they will get are breadlines.
David Howard
...
Julian Wright
Also America's economy is pretty much sustained entirely by the petrodollar, has anyone mentioned that yet and how that will affect not only the US but the entire world? Even if no above mentioned economic collapse happens, we WILL run out of oil.
Ayden Howard
They still are responsible for picking up where their forebears fucked up and they aren’t even attempting to make an effort.
Aiden Ramirez
But what makes this month different from next month?
Jonathan Price
no idea user. move your money to cash and hold it. no one is safe from whats coming.
Andrew Myers
well really this time its not different. There have been many fiat currencies in the past that have ended due to loose monetary policy which resulted ultimately in hyper inflation. This will be the first time it happens to the whole world at the same time.
Jaxon Thompson
Calm down, faggot. There's no recession or Great Depression coming.
Benjamin Robinson
>Derivative trading is still unregulated? Wouldn't know much about that but the Dodd-Frank act imposed heavy restriction on derivative trading
>Does our debt factor into this at all? Were 20 trillion in debt right now which means if we were to raise interest rates to 5% we would be paying 1 trillion a year on the interest alone. We're going deeper into debt because we have financial obligation such as pensions, social security and entitlements that our tax dollars can no longer meet. Also Boomers are retiring now and more people are on Food Stamps than ever before
>If massive unemployment, defaulting on loans, and bankruptcy happens could the tax base shrink enough to cause a debt crisis or loss of confidence from foreign investors? Since we're massively in debt and there's no way to pay back certain creditors without overprinting money and causing hyperinflation will either get downgraded to junk status or print money like the Weimar Republic to pay everyone off.
>Also if Trump goes through with corporate income tax reduction we'd be even more out of balance. I don't even know what that guy is up to anymore
John Lopez
it might hyper inflate first.. either way not much time left.
Sebastian Martinez
I can already feel bitcoin hitting a new all time high as your fiat money becomes more and more worthless
Brandon Long
That 20 trillion doesn't include any of the debts owed in social security of medicare or the missing 21 trillion from HUD or DOD. With the stock market at record highs social security and medicare are ~40 trillion under funded.
Caleb Collins
Have money sitting around a trading account ready to put into VXX at the first sign of trouble. Sell after 4 trading days.
Wait 4 to 6 weeks after the crash seems to hit bottom, then buy healthy conservative companies that survived. Hold them for 4 to 6 years. Your money will multiply by 10x.
This is all pointless if the dollar collapses. You should have bought bitcoins, faggot.
Josiah Garcia
I don't know when the next recession will take place but you have to remember that recessions are a cyclical part of a business cycle which means they inevitable happen. Also if you take a look at the list of recession in the United States you would realize that we've never went more than 10 years since the last recession without another one breaking out. Just look at the last four. (1980-1982) (1990-1991), (2001-2002) (2007-2009).
Xavier Wilson
When it happens buy in about two or three days after the huge crash. Then wait 7 years and sell it all
Ethan Campbell
As long as fucktard keynesians run policy of course recessions will turn into depressions.
Aiden Lopez
Someone who is good at accounting, explain how one recovers from such a mess. Would the new government (the old one won't survive) just say "Whoopsies, we can't pay for this so oh well," and then trillions in debt are wiped off the books? I get that the dollar would be worthless and technological civilization would crash (due to dependence on the dollar), but is this going to be one of these things that results in 100 years of chaos or a few years of Venezuela?
Charles Peterson
Thanks. What causes low velocity? Does the low velocity stem from a maldistribution of wealth?
Nothing I know of. But all it takes is a sudden shock right?
"This time it's different" is an old saying justifying why economic collapses and bubbles aren't inevitable in the current system when patterns of previous crises are being repeated.
Luis Peterson
Good. Comfort breeds decadence.
Connor Mitchell
The Rockefellers came out of fossil fuels at the peak in 2014?
Your ideology rests on the assumption that society is in economic shambles. And yet... American great depression still beat living in the USSR.
Parker Martin
...
Noah Smith
The current signs are already telling us that the next recession is going to result in WW3. Fixed it for you OP.
Joseph Miller
3/4ths of those recessions stemmed from speculation and overleveraging. I'm not sure what caused the 1980-82 crisis other than the the 70s oil crises.
Joshua White
You have to either officially declare bankruptcy and default or unofficially through hyper inflating the currency. Problem is the huge welfare state that has been funded by debt can't continue so people will lose both all their savings and many of the government support systems at the same time. We will have to rebuild from the ground up. The government could issue a non debt based currency and do something like fund infrastructure projects. But I un-ironically expect riots, food and power shortages in varying degrees for at least 5 years.
Elijah Hernandez
Revelation 6 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. 7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Elijah Reyes
Firgot previous verse
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
Parker Nguyen
Speak for yourself I'm a millennial and I'm not fucked, ya retard. I have a good job from my degree, 300k in overall net worth, I own two paid off cars and 1 paid off motorcycle and lots in valuable antique collectables that will never devalue Fuck yourself, faggot
Jose Morgan
Thats the golden question. Its not just one factor. You basically are asking.. Why do people save money and why do people spend money? Culture, economic factors, current events all effect it. Investopedia gives the orthodox view on it.
All this boils down to money theory though. Which is only a theory.
Logan Wood
Cool, let it all burn. Millenials shouldn't be forced to save the boomers and other scum.
Julian Hall
>let it all burn I second this motion
Aiden Mitchell
yeah but aren't you excited for what comes next? We get to take back our planet
Hudson Wood
>I shouldn't be forced to help the people that built modern day America where everyone has a computer, where i play video games, where i shit post on an image board, where i enjoy tv and movie content, where i consume delicious food and drive around in nice cars, etc
Jesus Christ, you fags project your shit filled, fucked up lives on boomers.
Carter Adams
Got to run user. Good luck on paper
Christopher Davis
>I have a good job I'm sure you're be keeping it and your current wage in a depression scenario.
Elijah Sanders
>The government could issue a non debt based currency Oy vey dat sounds like annudah Hitlah.
Zachary Turner
China's going to be fucked with us if americans and Euros become seriously poor who will buy the ipads and nikes ?
David Roberts
>missed the 2 paid off cars, paid off motorcycle, 300k in money, and high valued collectables
I'm set to ride it out. In my line of work, toy don't get let go in a depression or economic slump; you get furloughed and get called back when the market ticks back up. Ezpz
Kevin Taylor
>let it all burn It's nice to be an edgy teen and think "let it all burn" would be fun. You'd get to have awesome parties in abandoned warehouses and shit.
Then after the party you walk home (because no roads maintained or transportation works), and find your mom and sister in mid-rape by a pack of niggers. You think, "Oh shit! I'd better call the poli--" but then you remember there aren't any police anymore because of the whole anarchy and no paycheck thing.
After the niggers fuck and kill your sister, they think it'd be funny to make you eat her shit and blood off their dicks. Then they kill you by cutting your throat, pulling your tongue out of your neck, and shoving your testicles in your mouth.
Yeah. Let it all burn.
Adam Harris
Could banks just be waiting to pump money and dump assets to cause the next collapse?
Does relatively low velocity apply to bank investments as well?
Ethan Harris
Helicopter money. Universal basic income for everyone.
No hyperinflation but a long deflation where the younger generations have no money to do anything other than eat and live.
Birth rates plummet, migration increases, as the emerging world power economies suffer off the back of less consumerism.
If people have money to invest, energy and miners will be the best bets going into a new inflation cycle once the deflation cycle finishes.
Jack Davis
Thanks for your time
Justin Adams
Boomers were out free loving and talking about the virtues of communism. The hippy filth of the 60s is today's marxist university teacher who is brainwashing young adults into thinking they are oppressed 'n shit. It was the boomers who allowed, even encouraged, the demographic shift of the country. They killed America. Fuck 'em and fuck you too.
Kevin Lewis
>we don't need no water >motherfucker
Jonathan Baker
Don't pay them any attention. They don't have shit (of their own) and think it'll continue...but they forget that their parents will lsoe everything, the parents that pay for all these edgy teen's shit
Gavin Morris
It will crash soon and Trump will be remembered like Hoover. The resulting societal collapse and poverty will usher in the next GET and widespread socialism
Luis Jackson
You forgot the part where billions of new dollars were printed out of thin air therefore no depression for the foreseeable future.
Basic macroeconomic policy no longer applies.
Jason Thomas
...
Christopher Wilson
Most of this already happens in many parts of the country. Tens of thousands of Whites are raped every year, thousands more killed in some of the most gruesome ways. The infrastructure is falling apart. You don't need an economic collapse for your fantasy to come true, it's already here for many.
When a house has become rotten and full of termites, the better option is to pull it down and rebuild.
Robert Nelson
>When the second great depression hits it will KILL US ALL
well thank fucking god.
Luke Young
No it won't drag out like that, it will resolve itself by bad debt going away and the system restarting ultimately more to the benefit of the younger generations or there will eventually be a revolution.
Leo Taylor
Lol no they Weren't. SOME were but not all, so you can't label them like that. All my aunt's and uncles are boomers and they didn't do that shit. Quit blaming other people for your problems and make a man of yourself, pussy. There's more opportunity now than ever. Anyone who says otherwise EXPECTS it to fall into their lap, instead of actually working for it. I had to work hard, but I got exactly what i wanted and now I'm fairly well off and am enjoying this life
Ryan White
Funny you should mention this. The end of Rome began with hyperinflation. And they never truly recovered.
Michael Morris
4 beasts are blacks, muslims, hispanics and chinese.
These are the "beasts of the earth" that will be doing the killing.
Sebastian Watson
Holy shit retarded faggot. He was broadly referring to millennials. Obvious the majority of them are fucked. As a whole they are fucked. Of course there's going to be people are well off. Good on you for being prepared.
Parker Sanders
As a 20 year old whos still in college. How will a crash affect my future? Im worried desu
Connor Morris
>Most of this already happens in many parts of the country Bullshit.
I live in the poorest part of the US with some of the worst infrastructure, and I can still get an ambulance or LEO to my house in 10 minutes.
The first 12 years of my life were spent in a place where that wasn't true. It's fucking hell. You're living in paradise, and have no idea what you're talking about.
