What is Sup Forums opinion on Lucky Star?

I like it a lot. It's not one of the best Slice of Life ever but it has it's niche. Honestly there's not much better then this and Haruhi for a mid-2000s nostalgia trip.

After all these years I still haven't watched the OVA.

Somewhat slow slice of life that rode the KyoAni references way too hard in the latter parts of the series. As much as I love Haruhi, they became a little much. Quite enjoyed it though.

Wholeheartedly agree, it really takes me back to Sup Forums in 2006 and reminds me of how long it's been.

Haven't watched it at all. Artstyle looks bad. Same thing for Clannad. Though I said the same thing for Haruhi Suzumiya, yet I enjoyed that for some reason.

It was the second anime that I watched when I was first getting into anime.

There has yet to be decent Lucky Star doujins. None of them so far have been fap-worthy.

It is really fun. Still one of the better CGDCTs, maybe. The genre is kinda rare so hard to tell.

What the hell are you saying? Lucky Star's artstyle is fucking perfect. Probably the best cute artstyle.

Anime's better than the manga. Kyoani did a great job. The official Bandai translation for the manga is WEAK.

Read them all last week. Dialogue doesn't flow well, and they leave weird amounts of stuff untranslated. Example includes "mikan" - you know, an ORANGE?!

At least the manga let me know that Ayano was dating Misao's older brother. Also saw a character sheet that said Kagami's bust was medium which was a surprise. This was later shown in Vol 8 when they are starting college and all go to the beach.

I kind of miss it. I watched to too early too so I missed most of the references (like Haruhi which I watched some time afterwards). I should rewatch.
