What haven't you dropped yet this season Sup Forums?

What haven't you dropped yet this season Sup Forums?

I already have?

But Saiki is AOTY

91 Days and Thunderbolt Fantasy

why you haven't dropped dead this season?

>watching
91 Days
Amaama to Inazuma
Amanchu!
Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!
Mob Psycho 100

>dropped
Battery
Handa-kun
Masou Gakuen HxH
Momokuri
Nejimaki Seirei Senki: Tenkyou no Alderamin
New Game!
Orange
Qualidea Code

I haven't picked up the banana one yet.
Is it good

Only Danganronpa. Planning to watch Thunderbolt Fantasy once it's over if that counts.

the only show I'm watching this season is bananya

Dropped:
Fukigen
Orange
Taboo Tattoo
Rewrite
Alderamin
New Game
LL Sunshine

Only Amanchu saves this shit season.

What happened to that site where you could make rankings with airing anime?

I've pretty much dropped everything before the season began. Sometimes, the only way to win is not to play.

Same here. The only thing mildly itneresting me is 91 days, guess I'll check it out once all episodes are out.

only watching masou gakuen because I am a pathetic person

Mob
Re;Zero
Orange
Amaama
91 days
Time travel Shojo

Why do people watch seasonal anime? Why not just wait every season to see what's shit and what's not. I'm not going to sit through 13+ episodes of a show that will have a shitty ending. That being said, I am only watching Shokugeki S2 and LLSS.

>Time travel Shojo
That makes 6 of us

Because I have a lot of free time and nothing to do at all.

I'm NEET dakara

You're on Sup Forums, you should know this.
Watching shows while they're airing can result in fantastic threads.

Although it seems the days of stuff like watching Code Geass with Sup Forums are long gone now. What a wild ride that was.

I never go to threads of ongoings because most of them are filled with garbage.

Only a few are excluded because either there isn't much to shitpost about or there isn't many watching

The Mahouka threads were pretty good.

>Shokugeki
I wish I could like this. I was really into S1, but I read the manga and when he loses, I lost all interest.

Moby
91 Days
Arslan Senki
Aldaramin in the Sky
Regalia (if that even counts)
Taboo Tattoo

Thinking of picking up Dangan Rompa after I marathoned the first anime.

>picking up Dangan Rompa
Play the games instead. The anime is beyond shit tier

It really is great.

>(if that even counts)
They're gonna make it better, you'll see.

Nothing wrong with that.
However, you are missing out on good discussion content if the one seasonal anime show you watch months later after its run ended turns out to have been to your liking and you want to discuss it, as most good ideas come from spontaneity.
On the other hand, it's also fine to only want the crystallized essence to answers of a topic that has been discussed before.

I heard something about the anime and games were connected this time around or something?

For me there is no way to know i will like an anime without watching it,other peoples opinions are completely worthless in that aspect.

I also prefer watching sol shows when they air.

I tend to watch more lighthearted ones like Netoge or Shirayukihime as they air. But for stuff that requires emotional investment of any kind like Re:Zero, I'll wait until it's over to binge.

You dumbass fuck the next two arcs after are GoAT

Get back on the boat

I haven't dropped anything, but I only picked up Danganronpa, 91 Days, and Mob. It's easy to pick the good stuff out early.

I'm seriously amazed how few people are paying any attention to Shokugeki this season, it's definitely a step down from the last season but it's still really good, why does nobody seem to talk about it?

Because everyone who cares already reads the manga

TIME TRAVEL GIRL

This. The only adaption anime I've watched recently was Overlord. I generally stick to the manga anime and light novels.

I guess that's why I've been feeling a bit jaded the last few years when it comes to anime. Most of the anime original stuff has been shit.

>Danganronpa
>91 Days
>The good stuff

Here, and relife

Only shows I've dropped this season have been Mob Psycho and Berserk, both after the first episode.

Mob's first episode isn't really representative, having just powered through 2-5 it was fun.

Berserk was a mistake though

...

Amanchu!
Time travel Shoujo
Battery (Haven't started watching yet)
Saiki Kusuo Psi-nan
Amaama to Inazuma
JOJO
Mob
New game

Also waiting for Kuromukuro to get real subs, not garbage user ones.

If you marathoned the first Dangan Ronpa anime, play the second game Super dangan ronpa 2. It's available on torrents and shit.
(You've already spoilered yourself everything from the first game so playing it wouldn't be any exciting).
Danganronpa 3 is made considered you played both of games, so you would be both confused with what is happening and who is who and spoilered all the fun TWISTS that were in the game.

The two currently airing anime series are sequel and prequel - not adaptations

Bit behind on watching all of it, especially Sousei no Onmyouji since i started watching it this season.

>However, you are missing out on good discussion content if the one seasonal anime show you watch months later after its run ended turns out to have been to your liking and you want to discuss it, as most good ideas come from spontaneity.
But at the same time, you would have to deal with sourcefags, and they like to drown out the conversation by telling you how you're missing out if you don't read the source material.
I want my experience to be my own, not borrowed from somebody else

Ah. I just assumed they were adaptations after the shitheap that was the first one.

>sequel and a prequel airing at the same time
Well that's some style. Not enough for me to pick it up, but that's stylish

You need to play the first and second games (and Another Episode?) to watch the current anime. The old anime only covers the first game (barely).

That of course depends on if the show is an original anime or an adaptation.
And a few of them can and do have significant anime original content that deviates from the source material.

Dropped anime whole as a media, see you this arid fall.

91 Days is low budget, but it's well done and atmospheric in just the right way.

Danganronpa is exactly what anyone who has played the games wanted. It's a lot of fun, and the threads are great.

I'm still watching what paltry offereings are acceptable, but other than Overlord I've lost any sense of hype for anime after 2013.

Can't be me getting old cause I still play vidya and watch western cartoons.

Only picked up Mob and Saiki because i liked the manga of these, and Bananya because it's a short.I prefer working on my backlog

Dropped nothing because I'm only watching Mob and Danganronpa 3.

>Dropped
Berserk(2016)
Days (TV)
Ozmafia!!
Servamp
Hatsukoi Monster
Sacred Rider Xechs
Time Travel Shoujo
Tsukiuta. The Animation
Nejimaki Seirei Senki: Alderamin
Taboo Tattoo
Hitori no Shita: The Outcast
Idolshit
B-Idolshit

>Watching
Almost everything else

>Overlord
How is that possible considered the terrible shit taste you have?

The only things I'm still watching are 91 Days(AotS), ToZ(For the visuals alone), Mob, Amaama and Shokugeki s2. The rest is literally trash.

For threads discussion you autist.

>Aldaramin

That show turned out surprisingly watchable for some reason. Yeah, it's the same bullshit "genius, but lazy MC" yet it works.

I count Overlord as a guilty pleasure, in a so bad it's god kinda way.
Which makes me even mroe depressed that it's the only thing in the last 3 years that I could watch from start to finish.

I'd give anything for another year filled with the likes of Nichijou, Ano Hana, Baka Tesuto and Durarara's first season.

Why would you consider Overlord as a guilty pleasure? It was a nice anime with a nice soundtrack, some good voice acting, animation was fine and above-average quality, and the shorts were kinda funny.

Because it falls squarely into the completely overdone "stuck in a videogame world" genre that I was already tired of with .hack a decade ago.
Granted, the comedic value of the MC being evil and OP is new, and it's why I kept watching.

>KLK
>Mahouka
>DATABASE DATABASE
>Monmusu before generals
Sure that faggot moot is gone but we have some good threads. Just not this season.

The only shows I dropped was Mob Psycho 100 and HxH boob show.

Both are trash tier.

Just not this year more like. Log Horizon was a fun ride though.

Hmm, I'm not big on VNs, but I feared you'd say that.

I guess I just assumed the second part was inconsequential to what's happening in 3, because they never adapted it but are doing the third part...

I've yet to watch episode 3 of Amanchu! so I can declare it dropped. But that is all.

>watched at beginning of season
Berserk
Zestiria
Macross
Arslan
Alderamin
Regalia
91 days

>still watching
Berserk
Zestiria
Macross
Arslan
Alderamin
Regalia

Because hxh is hot as hell, yurishia best girl.

you watch them after you play the games user. it's literally a genre shift from videogame to anime. the new danganronpa 3 upcoming game has a different cast.

Isn't there more to it than the first two games? I played through both but I have no idea who the green haired girl is or why that was such a twist.

Yeah, it happened to be that Another Episode, some shooting game about Naegis sister, Touko and Komaeda babysitting kids, is relevant too.
The synopsis is under the spoiler, but you can also watch playthrough on you tube or something.

>watching
Hatsukoi Monster
Pokemon XYZ

>dropped
Amanchu!
New Game!
Orange

Current season is pretty meh.

Man, that's a lot of homework just to watch a show.

It's kinda like if the Assassin's Creed movie contains stuff that you'll only understand if you played all the games including the handheld ones...

DR3 is explicitly for the fans who have followed everything up to now, which is kind of refreshing. There's not much to explain what's going on to any potential newcomers.

Kay, then I guess my question boils down to this: Is it worth it?

Play DR1. If you like that, play DR2. If you like that, play AE and watch DR3. It's that simple.

Are there 2 separate Danganronpa anime series airing this season?

2-ish. They're better if watched together.
