A MAN has been accused of torturing his girlfriend’s eight-year-old son to death because he thought he was gay.
Isauro Aguirre allegedly doused Gabriel Fernandez in pepper spray, forced him to eat his own faeces and vomit and stubbed cigarettes out on his skin, The Sun reports.
The 37-year-old is also accused of beating the boy with a bat and shooting him with a BB gun along with Gabriel’s mum Pearl Fernandez in Los Angeles.
His defence lawyer John Allan said his client had admitted murder but denies torturing the schoolboy, according to LA broadcaster KTLA5.
Little Gabriel was tortured by Aguirre and Fernandez, 34, over the course of eight months in 2013, prosecutors say.
Aguirre also allegedly forced the boy to dress up in girls’ clothes before going to school and didn’t like him because he thought he was gay.

According to the ex-lawyer, who now lives in Florida, members of the appeals panel are “supporters of gay rights,” making them unsuitable to judge him.
“[Board member] Anthea E. Papista, among other things, failed to disclose that she is an enthusiastic financial supporter of homosexual rights and of Democratic candidates. And, Chairman Lamont E. Buffington failed to disclose that he was a member of the student government at the
University of Michigan Law School who had ‘long experience in student government affairs,'” Shirvell stated.
Shirvell was accused of stalking and harassing college student Chris Armstrong, an openly gay student assembly president at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2010, that eventually resulted in his firing and a court judgement to pay Armstrong $3.5 million.

Nearly one month after being charged for fatally stabbing his classmate, 18-year-old Abel Cedeno is telling his side of the story.
The teen is accused of murdering 15-year-old Matthew McCree and seriously wounding 16-year-old Araine LaBoy in September after reportedly experiencing years of anti-gay bullying.
Cedeno told Gay City News that he was desperately defending himself from McCree’s repeated punches, adding that he was more concerned that the bullies had gang connections.
“I was trying to get him off me,” he said from Rikers Island. “I was afraid for my life.”
