It is popular in Japan for some reason so that effect comes all the way to here as well.

But mainly ReZero is the anime that people enjoy shitposting about.

It is also interesting to see that a supposedly background maid character shined so gloriously, much more than the main heroine. She is my waifu as well.

As for the story, twists are not that bad so it might be not that weird to see this show becoming popular when the other shows suck so fucking hard.

I really can't see how people are praising it to be a good show. It goes from being trash and then having 1 or 2 good episodes and becoming trash again.
