Sup Forums doesn't like good anime

Is that the prequel to Ange Vierge? Might give a watch.

Didn't watch it, read it. It's about an ancient Roman engineer with a thing for bathhouses who transports to modern Japan whenever he is fully submerged in water. He doesn't know he's travelled through time as well as space, and so he thinks the "Flat-faced Tribe" are just some other nation far removed from Rome. Twist: he still only speaks ancient Latin and Greek.

>No scanslations
>The only way to actually read it is to buy the official translations

This sounds fucking amazing, hopefully it gets fully translated.

The full scans are available online

>Doesn't know about goddess archive.
Since when the average IQ here hitting double digit?

It's because Sup Forums is filled with people like these two:

It's been dumped a few times here, it was over a year ago now though.

...

I'm glad you found this masterpiece.

Lurk more.

The thing is that Sup Forums is like MUH SELF INSERT and IT'S CHANGED NOW IT'S SHIT about the latter parts. To be honest I like them.

An anime about ancient Rome? Sounds neat

>Sup Forums is like MUH SELF INSERT and IT'S CHANGED NOW IT'S SHIT

The author is so into self-inserts, she actually married an Italian.

>tfw your friend bought you the second volume when you own neither the first nor third.

Lurk more.

I've put it on and removed it from my backlog a couple of times, the last one being after watching the statue series.

>that chapter where Lucius bonds with a Japanese engineer over their taste for DFC, as opposed to the boorish taste of their countrymen for cowtits

I actually like the live action too, it's quite silly.

I wanted to buy them, but it turns out the first volume is out of print.

That was my favorite arc.

>cast a jap to play a roman
Muh yellowashing

Literally the worse thing I've ever watched.

I would happily rewatch Master of Martial Hearts 10 times in a row before I watched even 1 episode of Thermae Romae.

I honestly hope you are rusing, for your own sake OP.

>I would happily rewatch Master of Martial Hearts 10 times in a row before I watched even 1 episode of Thermae Romae.
MoMH is a masterpiece though.

Done read, Man, it was long time ago. I love time travel. I wish... they have more. like... this or that.

Please explain your shit taste

I prefer Sekkou Boys.

you're bullshiting pics or it didn't happen.

>Mari Yamazaki was born in Tokyo on April 20, 1967. At age seventeen, she moved to Italy, where she started studying drawing at an art school in Florence. Yamazaki made her manga debut in 1996 with an autobiographical look at her life in Italy. After bouncing around between Japan, the Middle East, and Italy, she finally settled down in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2003. In 2008, she began drawing Thermae Romae for the monthly magazine Comic Beam on an irregular basis, and the first collected volume was a smash hit upon its 2009 release. In 2010, Thermae Romae received the Manga Taisho Award 2010 and the 14th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize, Short Story Award.

>Mari Yamazaki currently lives in Chicago with her Italian husband and their son.

She is a legit Romaboo.

It's pretty great

>anime

You're a faggot.

>there are people on this board who have watched the anime but haven't read the manga
Kill me.

Is there anymore of this type if manga/anime? Like someone from the past coming to modern times? I just love seeing their reactions to modern technology.

bump

The Devil is a Part Timer? That's the closest I can think of.

I learned about after visiting Kusatsu. They have plaques of famous people that visited there and they included Lucius.

>the dust cover title block covers the statuary dicks
>uncensored dicks underneath

I love it.

>the statuary dicks
>read this as "the statutory dicks"

Time to SLEEP

>no one here told me about this series
sorry I didn't realize it was 2012 again and that I had to go back to hyping old shit

>dust cover
>hardcover
>glossy paper

It might be a little ostentatious, but I think this is one of the best Jew Press offerings. ROMA deserves no less.

>read the manga already
>watching the anime
well this is kind of shit

is the english version on nya? I've been waiting

I still remember the look my friend gave me when he came over and saw all the naked men on the covers of this series on my bookshelf.

>There are people who haven't watched the movie in addition to reading the manga and watching the anime.

>only watching one of the movies

Has the second movie subbed yet?

I thought this is a joke thread.

fuck, fuck, fuck

Even Abe couldn't save that pile of shit.

Thanks a lot OP. Just marathoned through the whole manga. It was fucking great. Definitely one of the best I've read.
The girl was obviously the author's self-insert, but man, her grandpa was fucking great
Now let's try the anime.

Maybe because he was very clearly just Tommy Lee Jones.

Does it have Tommy Lee Jones as the grandpa? Because that's literally their only job.

I tried googling and it actually worked.

Yes. Go to the usual place.

>>Mari Yamazaki currently lives in Chicago with her Italian husband and their son.
>you will never be so Romaboo you marry a greaseball and move to Wopville

>tfw she didn't marry Araki.

They would have been a perfect match.
