A Nordic confederation, you mean. The nations are close, but are still different enough and have different histories.

I think a common Nordic military force would be great. Unlike in EU army, all the countries would have skin in the game and rotten politicians couldn't just fuck over and offer one of the member states in a war.

Of course Finland/Estonia would pull most of the weight, but a Scandi support would be bretty great.

I think that the "cultured thug" is what is needed, NRM got the thug part right, while failing on the cultured part, while other organisations like Motgift got the cultured part right, but not the thug part.

There already exists a close economic and diplomatic union between nordic countries. You are free as a nord to live and work in any of these lands, no questions asked. There is tight bureaucratic cooperation including taxes, state administration of citizens, police, and medical services. There are military agreements as well, but they have never been tested and as all nordic countries are members of NATO, its kind of a moot point.

Finland isn't quite on that level but then again, Finland isn't really considered a Nordic country in the same vein as the others. They have always been their own culture and identity, but with a close proximity to the nordic lands.

Honestly one of the biggest objections I have against a union is exactly that, Sweden is too large, at least population wise that a union would always be tilted towards the wishes of swedes, that and I don't want out distinct cultures to fade away.

I really cannot support nord front, i've looked into it and the whole thing seems really fishy, it's not an official political movement or an organization, you cannot officially become a part of it, there is no centralized leadership, they believe in fascism maybe sort of, they advocate for nordic federalism instead of individual state nationalism overall the whole thing seems like a big honey pot to me. A lot of its supporters at least locally here seem to be like actual neonazi brainlets who don't know nothing.

Whole point of NRMs nordic union plan is that any attempt at a real national socialist state would get sanctioned into oblivion or militarily invaded so no nordic country alone is economically independent enough or militarily strong enough to withstand that and would just fail. But united nordic countries could be independent in energy and food production and militarily strong enough to deter invasion with the end goal of developing a nuclear weapon (not as far fetched as you might think either since sweden already produces enriched uranium for nuclear fuel).
Without the unification plan NRM is pointless larping as is any other attempt at say national socialist finland. National socialist finland would be fucked immediately by simply cutting electricity imports from sweden and norway.
