He doesn't write powerlevels, strategic fights have the same issue. Any sort of fight or ability will be analyzed to the last detail for any sort of inconsistency. Chrollo vs Hisoka was so complex and 2ch still managed to nitpick it so thoroughly that they came up with an in depth alternate theory about what was actually happening. If it's true then it was a ridiculously clever fight but if not, they exposed a bunch of mistakes.
