I've even been featured on Mangastream about two dozen times. They represent thousands of hours that I've invested in this ship.

IchiRuki is the basis of this series. It all starts with them and ends with them. They saved each other and they love each other. It was so simple and so perfect. I have nothing more to say about this.

Honestly I'm leaning towards the latter. This entire last arc felt rushed, shallow and boring. I've already forgotten half the shit that's happened and the names of most of the antagonists. It just seemed like Kubo said "Let's give most of the characters a reason to use their bankais to satisfy the fanbase, tie up some loose ends and sprint to the fucking end."

I'm glad it's over, this last arc of Bleach was some of the worst stuff I've read in recent memory and I'm not a Bleach hater. It's cute to see the characters settle down and stuff but it could have been done better. That last fight felt so rushed that I got whiplash.

The management likely gave him however long to end the series, and he ran long because he sucks at pacing, then they finally got tired of his shit and told him to wrap it up by this date.

I bet they're beyond pissed he didn't go with Rukia for Ichigo, though, because that was a massive drive for the Japanese fanbase, and by denying it you basically end any chance at ever making money off Bleach again, so don't expect sequels, animes, tie-in comics, or really anything else, because it won't sell so they probably won't make it.

Wouldn't be shocked if the live action movie got canned as well once Japan gets a hold of the last chapter.

It wouldn't be so bad if Kubo didn't immediately cut from before the end of the fight to a fucking 10 year time skip. That's not you end your final boss fight Kubo. Especially when the fight itself was so short and anti-climactic.

It's easy to make a good ending even if only change the final encounter.

Just have Rukia team up with Ichigo instead of Renji, and then have Ishida appear as the deus ex machina to stop Yhwach, so Rukia uses her bankai on him, then Ishida sends it at Yhwach, freezing him. Oh but then you have to have a KUBOO moment, so he breaks out of the ice, but Ishida reveals that he didn't freeze Yhwach, he only froze the power of the Allmighty, so then Rukia and Ichigo team up for a final attack, a frozen getsuga tenshou that slices right through Yhwach's greasy face.

Then yadda yadda yadda Ichigo can't go back home since he's too strong so he stays in soul society and implied Rukia end.
