Is Spain committing seppuku with their actions in Catalonia?

>Now one businessman has warned enough is enough - as he insisted the Spanish government just “let Catalonia go” or risk being dragged down and destroyed by the enveloping crisis.

>"But Spain can’t come to terms with losing Catalonia, and losing the GDP it provides". "Madrid is being worse hit than Catalonia, it is really struggling. Madrid and Spain is facing a crisis.

>The Managing Director of AMC network finance firm, Mr Adam says he has decided to cut a planned $450 million investment in Spanish real estate projects in protest at what he sees as Madrid’s “medieval” response to the crisis.

>“Spain is going down and this government has to go. It is too volatile - you don't know when it is going to blow."

Both parties never intended to negotiate. Spain was however stupid enough to attempt to stop the referendum by force instead of just ignoring it.

>big companies are already fleeing from Catalonia to other parts of Spain
>central Government it's actually giving hell to separatist
>the "panic button" in our constitution has been activated a few hours ago
>everything will go back to normal in a few months
>but now industry is evenly distributed around the country

I'm ok with this

they were going to declare independence anyway, even with less than half of the population suporting it.
its not that simple

>this is what Manolos actually believe
So tell me about those big companies that are fleeing because last time I checked they had the buildings and employees in Catalonia.
And lol about how the "industry being evenly distributed", how retarded can you get.

People voted and independence won by 90%. Deal with it.

They will militarize in order to keep the cities under control, yet that will create a new military power in europe and their moor blood would make them attempt classic old school conquest of europe, in order to form the ultimate caliphate.

>a voting with ballots filled before it even started
There's a reason the only people who take it seriously are deluded politicians.

Everyone takes it seriously hence the chimpout coming out from Madrid and every spanish user here on Sup Forums.

What are the most popular Catalan media, so I could Google Translate them and stop reading these threads.

>Two out of five million people voted in a rigged election

Go ahead, do it. Declare independence. I want to sit back and laugh as Spain rolls the tanks in.

What will be Catalonia's main export goods once they have seceded?

Tv3,but is as impartial as north korean news.

Most of Catalans want to break away due to the police intervention, if you didnt do it you could have bribed them with more autonomy or they wouldnt dare going through with indepenance.
In the end it would still be a stop gap measure as it would one day blow up anyway, main issue is how to deal with it realistically as there are no good solutions that the parties would be willing to accept.

La Vanguardia is pretty unbiased.

new elections and puting all the separatist leaders in jail sounds good to me.
and half the popoluation of cataluña is so pissed with independentism that they will happily agree to that if they can return to normality and making money

>Be me
>Catalan
>Barcelona
>Do my daily shit right besides the nativity scene (fuck God btw REPUBLICA ARA)
>Don't wash my hands and eat the totally Catalan Pa amb tomàquet
>Look through the window
>See the 5679th pro-refugee protest
>Rush downstairs, didn't have time to put my pants so I go outside in my Estelada underwear
>Shout REPUBLICA ARA, TOURISTS GO HOME REFUGEES WELCOME
>Go back home and see Ahmed fucking my gf
>Masturbate at the sight of progressiveness at my sight
>After jacking off, go to Sup Forums
>See other Spaniards calling your movement shit
>WTF FUCK YOU MANOLOS YOU ARE ALL SUBHUMAN AUTHORITARIAN SUBHUMANS
>Ahmed decapitates my gf but it's okay because it's in their culture
>Ahmed stabs me and steals my money, it's okay though because it's in the name of anti-spanish fascism
>After getting fixed thanks to Spai- I MEAN CATALONIA'S UBERMENSCH HEALTHCARE, recieve letter from company
>"Moving our HQ from Barcelona to Madrid XD, btw you're fired."
>Suddenly a car speeds down the road and runs me over, breaking my ribs and crushing my lungs
>Hey at least it's better than living with a Spaniard
>Die

Yeah generally 40% activity in elections makes the vote invalid.

Found this, it's from 2013 so dunno if exports are still the same today.

10/10

It was 55% turnout but after the stolen ballots dropped to 43%. With a 90% of votes in favour of yes independence would win in any referendum so now you know why the spanish goverment is hellbent on not allowing it.

Who takes it seriously?

You guys have no support and are not gonna be recognized by anyone. Maybe Russia or Venezuela, so...

Don't forget Zimbabwe and Uganda, you damn uncultured swine

>Maybe Russia or Venezuela
>Maybe Russia
yeah, like they dont have their own separatism problem or anything...

Better rush and export more outside.

Boycott is gonna be a reality from now on.

Wanna brag about having money? So get it by yourselves now.

Catalonia only have a better condition because the central government always helped it. Let's see now.

Botswana is out of the game for that btw.

LOL

Not even africans support it.

btw, that's some weird nig. Anglo nig I suppose.

You can't buy favours forever though.

You've been doing the boycott for more than 10 years now. Spain matters less and less everyday.

IF Catalonia offered every lurker on pol a vial of Spanish fly, then we would meme catalonia into freedom without american bombs

Money laundering, narcotrafficking, arms smuggling. It is perfectly located to go between EU and MENA interests, has a good banking system. It's a new world.

I would say that it's got a good position in terms of shipping and trade, but Barcelona isn't even the largest container port in Spain. Valencia and Algeciras are bigger. Hopefully the government takes over the port and runs it into the ground. Then they'll be really screwed.

I really hope secession happens.

>Hopefully the government takes over the port and runs it into the ground. Then they'll be really screwed.
This kind of mentality shows how detached from reality some of you are and how dumb is your thought process.

SOON

I don't know, but I think Catalonia want to shoot themselves in the foot just to get independence:
>20minutos.es/noticia/3165255/0/omnium-cultura-sacar-dinero-bancos-viernes/
They are asking people to withdraw all the money that they can from banks to 'protest'. Way to go to collapse your own economic system, secessionists.

Spain will not allow the EU-supported communists to destory their Kingdom, and they will be the next nation to leave the EU.

>Implying that having Euros in banknotes isn't good after the New Catalan Republic start printing their own currency since can't start using Euro

homagetobcn.com/catalonia-currency/
>However, just because Mr. Mas says Catalonia will retain the euro, doesn’t make it so. In fact, outside of his Convergència I Unó party, opinion is that an independent Catalonia would not only not be allowed to use the euro, but would also be ejected from the EU. As the European Commission stated earlier this year, “If a region separates from a Member State, the treaties are no longer in place from the day of its independence”.

Damn I already booked my flight to Spain in January for winter vacation.

>You've been doing the boycott for more than 10 years now.

you've seen nothing, user

Lmao spics are so mad at the other spics

>Hopefully the government takes over the port and runs it into the ground.
Why? The Catalonia goverment is doing enough of a good job with that.

Catalonia issuing their own currency and printing their own money would be too good for them. (((They))) will never allow such thing to happen.

>real estate projects
Mr. Adam sounds like a rent seeking kike.

>you could have bribed them with more autonomy

That's the point. Enough is enough. This started because they chimped out when the government aborted yet another buff to their autonomy allowed by the cuck socialists that governed Spain until then.

Their politicians have been one of the worst corrupt elites in Spain and the strategy has always consisted in blackmailing the rest of Spain with leaving and feeding their people lies about muh culture and muh Spain steals from us.

To hell with that, this had to explode at some point and it's gonna blow in the face of their people the worst.

Businesspeople should have no say in government whatsoever

>due to the police intervention
The mossos have been more brutal that what the GC did in 1-O. If they are butthurt for that they are literally retarded.
>you could have bribed them with more autonomy
They are already one of the most autonomous areas in Spain, they have been getting gibs since 1978 and the first time they get a 'no' they throw a shitfit.
They fucking have embasys on other countries for fuck sake.
>it would one day blow up anyway
That day was 1-O.
>how to deal with it realistically as there are no good solutions that the parties would be willing to accept.
Take their autonomy away and drop Catalan (and Vasque since they are next) out of Co-officiality. They abused the system so is clear they don't deserve it.

>More autonomy
More autonomy means independence, they are the second region in Europe with the most autonomy, just behind Bavaria. They are turning one of the most flourishing regions in the country in the northern Andalusia.

Catalonia is my favorite independent Republic to be honest.

So what if they did? That would be when you would move to stop them. Trying to stop the vote itself, which the Catalans said themselves was non-binding anyway is what started this crisis.

Spain has the authority here. Acting to stop the vote made them look horrible. If they had waited for Catalonia to try and actually break away instead, then they would look like a government asserting authority over rebels.

All the shenanigans during the vote accomplished was to make it look like Catalonia is being oppressed by a jack booted overlord.

WHAT!!??
Spain is poor and doing bad? How can this be? they're in the European Union! an organization made to improve the European economy! say it isn't so! they must me an out lier most European Union countries are doing great right!?

>russia
were you born retarded or yesterday?

>which the Catalans said themselves was non-binding
Except the Catalonia goverment has said the opposite.

It was literally political pandering to hold the coalition together. Every poll showed the vote would be decisive loss for the independence crowd.

If they lose it's non-binding, if they win it's binding

>Every poll showed the vote would be decisive loss for the independence crowd.
Only in the case of a REAL referendum.
The 1-O was going to be win by a massive Yes landside the same reason the 2014 one was, because only independentist niggers would vote. And then they will use it as an excuse to put preasure on the central goverment, which is what they have been trying to do for the whole month.

...

why they got 90% then? Your (((polls))) failed to predict the (((outcome))) by large nate silver?

Because only independence supporters turned out to vote in large numbers. Unionists considered it a farce (and rightly so).

That being said, those unionists are definitely not the overwhelming majority my fellow Spainbros claim they are.

Pretty sure neither side gives a shit about basic economics. Tragic.
