As GenX I still remember how it was before diversity was a thing and I probably live to see how it ends.

Beside that, in my Generation happend much, very much...
What I've done and what I've seen, I remembered shortly before making this thread and was somewhat between amazed and stunned.

If you're GenX too, think about it for a moment. I someone told me to explain it to a new Generation I wouldn't even know where to begin. If I live through the coming racewar and civilisation rebuilding..... I guess, I can unironically say: "Now I've seen everything! I've seen it all!".

gen X user here. The 90s were the best time to be of age. Something went terribly wrong with the timeline after that.

I agree. However we know what that (((something))) was that went wrong. At least we do now. It wasn't nice seeing it all fall apart, slice by slice.

Pierre Scheeder is that you? It feels real bad. I don’t want to be what I’ve become. However I will be the instrument of change I am
Destined to be. But it feels bad

Milleneal here, you guys are really important. You will be our leaders in the destruction and rebuilding to come because the baby boomers are worthless. I have a lot of respect for gen x, the forgotten generation.

It is truly disheartening canadanon. But you give me hope, we will make this existence one of prosperity and calm. After we excise the detriments of this society.

>Gen X
>wiggers
>nihilist
You guys could have stopped the boomers but you were too busy trying to act like 2cool4u hardasses. Seriously fuck (You) gen x

borderline genx here, was a teenager through the 90s so remember enough of it to talk about whats changed even though i wasnt in the workforce, music scene or doing anything interesting at the time.

the biggest change has been the internet, i still remember when people didnt have mobile phones and home computers with internet access were rare. if you could get online there were no videos, hardly any music, porn was a 1mb picture download, it was expensive as fuck etc

whenever you watch old genx movies thats what i take away from it, without internet access life was a lot simpler but it was certainly a case of ignorance being bliss.

Better times. An i say that as a 24 year old

how could any genx have stopped the boomers?
boomers had their debt fun in the 80s, genx'ers were too young to do anything about it

Millenial here and I was of age the last 3 years of the 90s, can confirm. Just enough diversity where competitiveness between races was still possible (and people were learning about other cultures' customs) and the ratio was at a healthy level, but not so much that everybody was non-American speaking, ignorant, welfare refugee or manual labor job stealing refugee.

I too am a millenial that loves the generation x artists and I wonder what living in those times was like

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest in the mid to late 90s. After spending the last 15 years living in different major metro areas of Chicago, Denver, Houston and Las Vegas I've realized that the America of my youth doesn't really exist anywhere and only in parts of the Midwest and PNW does it exists as a shadow of what it once was.

The saddest part for me personally was when I realized the America of my childhood stopped existing for most Americans sometime in the 1960s. Most millennials and none of gen z will stand up and fight for something they've never glimpsed. America is already over. We just haven't realized it yet.

I was foolishly fighting politically to return America to its roots but now all I want is destruction and rebirth.

It was glorious it was a false sense of security weakening the last generation, until now, that could’ve stopped it.

This is their appeal
I get awestruck by their highly advance coolness

No internet=people with a higher friend count

It was a better life. Internet existed but it was a VW not a Ferrari.I did go into X rooms and did some light hax plates some strip poker and saw the 8bit green titties.

I was a kid in the 90s I remember what it was like with based grunge music on the radio and the beginnings of the internet.

America always had self-destructive lyrics in their music wether be rock, grunge, hip rock, or the rest. They memed it into reality with words. I always imagined what things would have been like if all the instrumentals I loved were with empowering lyrics instead of self defeatist lyrics about failure

We had more or less the same brainwashing from education as the generations after us. Some of us managed to break free (or was it because we've been excluded from everything). We couldn't do shit in reality so we fought and created something where the old ones couldn't touch us, and that is what you know as internet. Only that also got fucked up by the real legacy of the boomer... the millenials. I don't want to make this a gen vs gen thread, because in the end it's (((their))) fault.

remember, in the early/mid 90s, there was only the main stream media, there was virtually no contact outside your immediate peers, everything you learned had to come from the tv, a book or a teacher.
its not like now, we didnt know anything, thats why they were so carefree and let the world slide to shit.

i recently rewatched a childhood favourite of mine, pete and pete, 90s kid show. if you want a slice of 90s melancholy then id hit it up. not sure about the states but where i grew up they do all the stuff i did, we werent scared of pedos or a race riot breaking out

genx is 1964 -1979, so in reality, you dont remember a world before mass immigration, or an america that wasnt filled with blacks and all the other races. the only real group that did was some baby boomers, and the great generation. granted it wasnt that bad, but it was never as bad as it was after, because it just keeps getting worse.

>kid in the 90s
You are a millenial like me user

Holy shit I can attest to the first paragraph being true

Man, introverted man, having crossed
In passage and but a little with the nature of things this latter
century
Has begot giants; but being taken up
Like a maniac with self-love and inward conflicts cannot manage
his hybrids.
Being used to deal with edgeless dreams,
Now he's bred knives on nature turns them also inward: they
have thirsty points though.
His mind forebodes his own destruction;
Actaeon who saw the goddess naked among leaves and his hounds
tore him.
A little knowledge, a pebble from the shingle,
A drop from the oceans: who would have dreamed this infinitely
little too much?

1980-born user here, yes we are. I think we were the last generation taught to have critical thinking skills.

We were too cowardly. We played with toys and watched 80s cartoons and thought about desert all day.
How fucking careless we were.
We should have become child soldiers, and taken our nation for ourselves. Like lord of the flies, only more fucked up.

It was a nicer time, people didn't have so much tech stuff to isolate and segregate themselves by. Young people hung out en masse and IRL in places like bowling alleys and pool halls and Denny's when it got late. People seemed happier.

The immigration act was enacted in 1965 but it took time to get as bad as, say... post-2003 levels. That being said I realy do believe the generation x didnt get a powerful dose of diversity like the millenials. Then theres generation z which may probably only ever know whites as a minority unless we find a way to disintegrate these jews somehow

Something went into overdrive ~98 and fucked everything up.
Those early 90s rioters against the NWO were correct, just too far ahead of their time.
I miss good music being promoted on airwaves.

The world was a much smaller place with less people in it. At least that is how I remember it and it was a good thing. The internet and communist faggots have ruined everything.

Spoiling your kids was a lucrative business in the 80s Millenials literally the most spoiled childhood in history nobody before us, or after us (generation z and up), ever been/ ever will be that spoiled again

This and yes my father taught me gun safety and maintenance at 10, gave me my first long rifle at 11 we hunted 3 times a year every year till I turned 18. He taught me survival he was a hard ass he never gave me a cent I worked every day to get paid . and I respect that man very much for teaching me what I could do, needed to do and how. We built a house just me and him it took us 3 1/2 years of weekends and summers. I never had a better time.

Yup

Dad huh? Must be nice

I had to be my own dad

the reason theyre so autistic now compared to genx is that the pre mass internet generation didnt grow up being bombarded with voices in their head, constant images in their eyes and shitposting in their brains.
we had nintendo, vhs, tapes/cds, magazines and the tv but none of it was truly on demand. ive got 6 tabs open just now over 2 monitors; 3 tabs of Sup Forums, 1 with google, music playing on 1 youtube, another youtube video paused and thats nowhere near as bad as it can get if i havent got other stuff open like excel or the phone going. couldnt imagine all that shit as am 8 year old.

Tfw you will never be a punky American teenage guy in the 90s

That is regrettable user, I am very fortunate to have had two involved parents. Do the same for the kids you will have or have. The bread got to me

Lol

This. Yes... fucking heavy man

>all the millenials in this thread still sucking the cock of generation x
you're fucking pathetic
their irresponsibility for themselves and the world they created is as detrimental to society as the fucking boomers and you all need to grow a spine and get some self-respect because none of these jaded bitter know-it-all cunts from the 90's did anything to stop the world from becoming the mess it become

in fact they helped contribute to it

Gen X here:

The 80s were a lot more fun than the 90s, at least for me. Before cell phones were more prevalent, before the internet was more than a dial-up gimmick, we had the two Corey's, the brat pack, MTV was awesome, chicks weren't trying to compete with the boys nearly as much (feminists were seen as radical crackpots by even mainstream standards). The music was better, Coke still tasted like Coke, the fashion was cooler. Okay, so we were in a cold war, but the 80s were still totally rad. I was a SoCal kid, I don't know if that matters, but when I think of the 80s I just remember how much better and newer everything seemed to be.

As for race relations, nothing was really being forced outside of the left. 80s blacks (I wuz one n shiiiiiieeeeet) were pretty well tolerated outside of political blowhards like Farrakhan and Sharpton..

This feels like a bant topic though

The internet ruined everything unironically.

Tfw everything Marilyn Manson was saying about Christians applies to Liberals now.

>Pseudo morals work real well on the talk shows for the week
>But your selective judgments and good guy badges don't mean to fuck to me

I may not have kids Im different I didnt derive enough benefit from this world and also recieved excessive suggerage that made me not respond to bringing a soul into this world. Yeah. The atleast this way Im serving a 2x4 up the Annunaki's ass

80s amazing I moved to Sandiego In the 80s fuck it was amazing. Yeah it does feel like /bant/

That’s the spirit user

>how much better and newer everything seemed to be
This
Also, that remains one of my biggest intrigues being of age in LA (I know u said SoCal) in the 80s

So cal user here as well. Whittier then Sandiego

disagree, the world was already on a collision course for failure after the cold war, we just didnt know anything about it, ignorance was bliss as a kid and probably a lot healthier in terms of development physically but mentally genx were as retarded as boomers seem to people now. we didnt know anything, unless it was your profession you knew fuck all about finance, law, history, politics etc

yes certainly the internet destroyed all of that. The media could no longer control the narrative as easily as they had in the past. The truth spilled out while censorship and our privacy was breached. All happening at the same time. The best of an era and the worst of an era coming all at once. The classic stipulation of paradigm shifts

Well said. spoopily so

Whats /bants? I didnt see it on the homepage

Don't be negative we can still punish remaining boomers.

in terms of seeing how the internet has developed, censorship is one thing genx'ers have seen change totally.
back in the late 90s it was slow but you could look up and find easily pretty much anything you wanted, there would be helicopters outside my house in 30 minutes if tried searching for the stuff you could find back then easily through speaking to people on boards like this. it was pre 9/11 internet, we all knew about muslims from afghanastan and yugoslavia but it wasnt like the post 9/11 era of surveilence

a good analogy would be with the earliest films made 100+ years ago, there were no laws or anything so guys were filming themselves fucking chickens and having gay orgies and whatever in 10fps grainy tape reels lol. stuff that would be considered hardcore even today

/bant/ random international. Look again

Gen Z reporting. Congrats on reliving the past on a daily basis instead of looking towards the future. Besides boomers you are by far the worst generation because of the way you raised the millennials. Thanks for birthing and raising a bunch of fags and pussies Gen X.

Rodney King and Gangsta Rap

It was all good until then. Sure we had problems, but after those two things, shit went south.

Lol

Watch the movie Pump Up The Volume with Christian Slater. That is the ultimate Gen X movie. The movie stated that we would all find harmony with each other if we could only find some means of communicating with each other en masse. Then the internet appeared and showed all of us how naive that line of thinking was.

Well, it never took into account confirmation bias.

You’re right you seem like a worthless cunt of a male. GEN ZEE contrarian, feckless, did you not get enough participation ribbons for picking your ass on a daily basis....

Millenial responding- Whats it like being a generation that has never witnessed whites being heroic like they were in the past (a la He-Man, Apollo moon missions, Ghosbusters or Innerspace) And has only had the negro gang boy as a symbol of masculinity/leadership?

this...can’t deny that

I was born in 86 so don't know if that means I am GenX or not. One thing I remember most fondly is visiting New York before 9/11. Don't get me wrong it was still multi-cultural but whites were so predominant back then. Now i go and its just Muslims, Mexicans and a shit ton of loud obnoxious blacks.

I'm really glad i got to experience one of the greatest cities in human history before it completely fell.

Sorry I forgot to include rap metal in there for my cool white people to look up to list

we have three generations of cultural marxism here. we see what went wrong. once we get rid of the jews, a better future would be possible.

Pasadena where you at

As for world affairs. Shit went pear shaped a long time ago.

Middle East is all fucked up because of Jimmy Carter. Everything that has happened is a domino from his backing of Ayotollah Khomeini.

GenX here...sorry but we are not fixing a damn thing. It would take much too long to explain why, but suffice to say we have not entrenched ourselves in the power structures that be. GenZ though, many of them are our kids and they are a different breed entirely. They will be the game changers. My generation just wants to be left alone. We never got a seat at the table. We also were the first gen to not buy into the "American Dream" at all. We find satisfaction in simple things, real things. We never took the reigns though folks. We have no power.

ching chong cheeeeng?

This. People used to know their neighbors, would talk to each other, had common courtesy and manners. They weren't overly obsessed with wealth and distractions. I watched the city around me change as more and more whites left and more nigs, spics and Indians showed up. Not sure if we can ever get it back, but if destruction is the catalyst we need then let us do what we must.

> things went pear shaped along time ago
(read while laughing)

90's teens the cool thing was to not give a fuck, you saw it in the fashion and language. It was like nihilism but no one called it that, a weird persistent ethos of it doesn't matter and people not caring about being cool or whatever. Way less materialistic and a waaaayyyyy less hysterical/judgmental then today. You could be a nerd/goth/stoner and actually enjoy that sub culture as it wasn't totally mainstream. Unique music trends would pop up then die off - punk and new metal come to mind. Independent film exploded and gave the Everyman a voice previously ignored. It was the high water mark for the west, in particular the USA - the brief shining light decade before we were all bought low by mudslimes and their sjw enablers.

Please God. Please train our hands for war. Please help us to fight. O'Lord, please help us.

"Britain will soon have the safest internet in the world."
We used to mock China for their state control.

Everything went to shit about tbe time Blair left as Pm.
I remember the 70s and 80s while uk was shitty then, it was a better place than now.

RIP when life was normal and awesome
stupid fucking dumb women and coloured people literally fucked up the western world with their filthy shitness

Gen Z here and I have to tell you that these threads are depressing.

Bullshit. That first paragraph is false. Just because you twats weren't part of underground cultures or access to conversation occurring outside of the mainstream doesn't mean it wasn't happening for others. Both your posts reek of millenials. More then likely both of you were children during the early nineties.

>if destruction is the catalyst we need then let us do what we must.
In that sense: NUKE IT ALREADY, KIM

There's some great gen x'ers but most of them were like this

youtube.com/watch?v=XOMT3bRJXOo

Either that or they are basically boomers. Just faggots that rode the credit bubble and think they're oh so respectable. In fact just like boomers most of them wouldn't even know it exists because they are too busy fingering their clit over their 4WD and soccer mum life.

do you reckon they named them gen X, Y and Z cause they knew gen Z would be the last one before the Jews finally put their evil plans into full play and try enslave everyone and kill the whites :^)? or the end of the white race?
