So Usagi Drop was not a heartwarming tale of responsibility and parenting but instead about a deranged man that raised a six-year-old to adulthood so he could fuck her?

Yes.
Thank you Japan.

It was natural for her to feel the way she did and it was natural for him to kind of push it off as a phase. He shouldn't have given in though. Daikichi is a pushover though and he just wanted her to be happy.

Yes.

Greatest love story ever told, I tell you what.

No it's about a messed up little girl manipulating a kindly man into marrying her after wasting his life trying to be her father.

Isn't this Woody Allen's life story?

Also incest.

He is fucking his aunt.

why does he look so lifeless and creepy in this shot?

It's not bad when you pick it up knowing what happens. It was a pretty cute love/crush story, just had a horribly rushed ending.

>but instead about a deranged man that raised a six-year-old to adulthood so he could fuck her
No. It was about a six year old grooming her foster father so she could fuck him.

No she's not

Yes.

I love how the anime didn't go for this shit and instead give a sutil pandering between the cake and Daikichi.

This. It was pretty hot honestly.

It wasn't even this. I never got the sense from her childhood that Rin was trying to get romantic with Daikichi. It's the opposite of KnJ in that respect.

Her attraction to him was rather sudden after a period of time while she was an adult. Like the other user said, it was probably a phase but Daikichi gave in, probably because the milf he was pursuing never gave in and he was in despair.

What does the ending say about the author?

Father issues?

The author wants her daddy to fuck her

All women want to fuck their daddy on some level.

Wow, she turns ugly when she grows up.

Reminds me on how the author of Anne of Green Gables also had written two short stories similar to this.

>he didn´t get together with the cute milf
I hate this

>not fucking her as a loli

Still a better love story than Ichihime

There is literally nothing wrong with rising an adopted daughteru to be your waifu
Fuck off pleb

No, it's a heartwarming tale of responsibility and parenting that suddenly got trashed once author's daddy issues surfaced.
Also Daikichi dindu nuffin, he was shipping Rin with Kouki.

this in world of sluts who have sex at 13 and 14 year
you can only raise your wife

>Salty Rukiafags

Flat boys are shit

The author has everything, everything, to end the series in a normal way. Not memorable or special but a decent and simple ending. Instead, she chooses stupidity.

>mfw I unironically liked ending because I thought other potential bfs were fags and dramaqueens

>The author has everything, everything, to end the series in a normal way.
It was hilarious how quickly all development to bring two families together was disregarded.
It looked as if the author finally got a green light from editor to go nuts. Either that or it was an elaborate ruse from the very beginning, because no one sane would genuinely believe that was the proper way to reach "fuck me daddy" ending and I find it hard to believe that the author just suddenly had a complete change of mind.

I don't mind the way it ended, I just wish it had more build up. The whole fuck me daddy end was kinda sudden.

I would rather not think it a ruse. That would be too depressing and adds a sinister tone to the comfy parts when Rin was a child.

I was really looking forward to the drama as adults. Rin-Kouki and Daikichi-Kouki's mother creates issues. In normal society, I don't think the dad marries the mom while the daughter marries the brother. Someone has to give somewhere. The mom refusing to fuck Daikichi after all those years was also interesting and I wanted answers.

I didn't want reverse sideways Genji Monogatari.

I think the purpose of the Josei genre is to convince middle-aged adults that they're still sexually attractive to younger adults.

Look at Honey and Clover.

>but instead about a deranged man that raised a six-year-old to adulthood so he could fuck her?
No. Rin pretty much groomed Daikichi who is incapable of saying "no" to her into fucking her.

Which is nowhere near as hot as it sounds because pretty much everything post-timeskip was fucking awful. If it was better written in general (what the hell was with that "no Rin you're not actually related to each other at all! ok bye" shit?), better paced in general and focused a little more on Daikichi's side of things as well it could've atleast been interesting if nothing else.

It;s called 'Pulling a Woody Allen'

he looks like that all the time
really makes you think

NBR all along

Was there really anyone who didn't want Daikichi and the cake to get together?

I'm honestly glad it ended that way, just so the series doesn't get forgotten and Sup Forums can still argue about it after all these years. There aren't too many non-mainstream series we can do this with.

Her refusing to call him dad was foreshadowing

>Woody Allen

So this ends like 1967 Casino Royale?

picked the fuck up

No.

His wife was related to him on a technicality, she was adopted by his relative at some point before they married.

Besides, they're consenting parties so who gives a fuck.

Who do you think?

Rin never saw Daisuke as her 'father' or indeed as a father figure at all. Rin made the decision and took the initiative to marry Daisuke - not the other way around.

>Her refusing to call him dad was foreshadowing

That's too bad.

it's actually smut for women. young girls that want to fuck their father schlick to this stuff.

go figure

The final stretch/ending being rushed as fuck was a bigger issue than what the ending itself was, honestly.

>Daikichi is a pushover though and he just wanted her to be happy.
This is pretty much what it boils down to. Poor bastard is willing to do anything for Rin to make her happy. ANYTHING

Even though his soul is probably screaming.

His soul is saying "no no" but his dick is saying "yes yes".

What a life -- to live in constant pleasure and torture.

Such is the life of a man.

No. It's a common thing with foster parents.

Becuase it is from Japan

> (((you)))

>that face of the man who just watches his little world burn and silently wonders where the hell he made a mistake
I can eat all incests and weird shit like happy meals, but that was just disturbing.

Is this kind of thing REALLY considered acceptable in Japan?

That's what saved it.

There is nothing cute about marrying the little kid you raised

I don't believe in Naruto.

What about the post is Jewish you faggot crossboarder?

Fuck you

Daikichi did nothing wrong

Yes, it's very normal to fuck your daughter in Japan.

>implying you wouldn't raise a loli so that you could fuck it
Keep lying to yourself OP.

Says you.

She was like 5 years old

A normal 5 year old would have called him dad

>(what the hell was with that "no Rin you're not actually related to each other at all! ok bye" shit?)

So she could fuck Daikichi without it being incest. This a story for women who want to bang a father figure, if you go in identifying more with bumbly Daikichi navigating the perils of parenthood you're literally reading it wrong

Didn't know my dad until I was 5. Never called him dad until I was 13 and never once called my stepfather dad though.
It varies by person but from personal experience the parental attachment doesn't necessarily come from the role itself.

I think the user was complaining about how that revelation was handled to be fair, not what it was

user, this is not just a thing in Japan. If you look beyond Sup Forums and all Sup Forums-related material, incest has been done to death in all forms of media. I mean, look at HBO, there's several shows where brothers and sisters fuck on screen.

Yeah, I can copy paste a short story by a famous child author about the same topic.

Considering no one else wanted her, he basically told his entire family to fuck off before adopting her, and she is of the age where she knows this, I really see no reason why she wouldn't call him dad unless she has a very good reason not to.

Please do.

Nevermind posting it here. It's actually quite long (33k words).

>expecting a woman to write a competent story

...

Here's another one by the same author.

pastebin.com/bVetDTYp

This one is shorter. Not about raising the loli, but the loli still falls for an old man nonetheless.

pretty much everything smut i've read that ended up being written by a woman was about a man adopting a girl and raising her to have sex with. women are gross

Clearly you haven't read 50 Shades of Grey then.

you're right, i'd have to go into a store and buy it if i were to read it and i have no desire to. i'm talking about manga i've stumbled upon

Funnily enough I read this earlier in the year and only found out a few weeks ago that it had a manga.

>pastebin.com/wwY9fN7T

"I must find a husband for Betty…my fatherly duty would not be fulfilled until I had…nor, indeed, my duty to society."

Oh boy.

Good thing I don't read josei smut shit then.

Anyone here has read Genji Monogatari?

says the guy who had his mom go to a shop and buy 50 shades of grey for him so he wouldn't be embaressed

I don't buy it though.

>refuse to call him "Father" or "Papa"
>views him more as a friend

Wow, it's just like this show.

This is my fetish. It pleases both my heart and my dick.

>fucking hot delicious young pussy
>soul saying no
I don't think he was gay, user

this was cute

Would be my AOTS if it were an anime.

>This is how Yotsuba&! is going to end

Loled but I agree
