Also, I can’t speak for Detroit’s pavement apes but the ones in Ohio rarely vote unless they’re directly getting something. The dems try herding them into busses but they usually have to offer them food or something to get any cooperation. many people especially in inner cities see immigrants moving in an open businesses seemingly overnight. also refugee sections are designated jobs and free education. this angers residents although it is good for the local economy, it makes the people that have been living there their while lives feel like they have been abandoned by the dems. hilariously enough in my city the mayor is black and won his seat with the black vote. he then gives all the hand outs to the rich white boys club while leaving the people that voted for him stagnated in the ghettos. he is also gentrifying these exact same neighborhoods by giving millions to wealthy contractors to build luxury apartments pricing out the existing residents.

He didnt even bother going for something smaller like mayor of NYC first. Just jumped straight in and fucking won.

Pennsylvania is always covered in red except for areas surrounding phillie and pittsburgh. For instance, I can't remember the last time Potter, Mckean, and the surrounding counties were anything but red. I've seen the western counties go blue, but PA almost always looks the same. It's like a fucking coin toss whether or not PA decides to go blue or not.

Trump energized the area because of his protectionist economic policy, with a little bit of good ol' fashion racism sprinkled in for good measure.

It's not racism when you take, say, a particular city or region, and it has it's own particular culture and demographic makeup and way of doing things, and then you dump half the 3rd world into it for no conceivable reason and now you might as well be a foreigner in a foreign country.

As Assange said a few months ago, the Democrats are preemptively preparing for America's non white future by focusing exclusively on minority issues today and advocating for the interests of upper middle class Liberals who benefit from neoliberal policies, which fucked up the working class. The working class in the blue states didnt become conservative overnight, and moved to the red, but it was the Democrats who sold them out for the immigrant/latte sipping neoliberal/black/Pablo vote. The Republican Party are becoming the party of Whites, whilst the Democrats are becoming the party for brown people.

I'll tell you what, I saw an immediate and vigorous response to Bernie. He's a communist Jew who in my opinion is also largely incompetent and unable to provision workable solutions, but he did at least very successfully market himself to rust belt blue vote, at least from what I saw.

So all you need to do is look at what Bernie and Trump have in common to see why some blues went red, and all you have to do is look at what Trump and Hillary don't have in common to see why the other blues stayed home.
