It's been 10 years. Is Darker than Black ever going to get a second season? I really want to know what the fuck is up with those gates.

The ova's were pretty fun. That's all we've got to wane our hunger though. I hope they make a second season, but given that it's been so long I doubt we'll see one

Ecks dee,redditbros.

Yeah, let's see you explain what those gates are.

They would've been explained in season 3,so blame Japs for having shit taste.

The manga is the second season we need. Shame it didn't get adapted into animu.

It's magic I ain't gotta explain shit
What made DtB interesting were the characters as well as the society that has to deal with the new reality.
Subplots of human experimentation, ethics, and ultimately the importance of feelings add depth.
The gates themselves are fairly meaningless plot devices

It's a dead franchise

>nobody appreciated the detective

You faggots deserve this for having such a shit taste.

>glasses

Sorry,I don't date nerds.

You say that like it can't have both and make itself even more interesting. Why does it need plot holes?

You disgust me.

Any explanation would be disappointing. It's more fun as a mystery no one understands.

>It has been 10 years already

Fuck, time flies by so fast.

The manga was really good.

Also a prequel would be nice to see Hei earning his name as Shinigami without her sister's power even.

Is there something similar out there?

MC lives a double life, really thrilling, grim atmosphere accompanied by some nice funky, jazzy tunes?

Probably not, because I have already watched the alternatives.

Is any series planned?

>liking worst girl

A NIGHT SKY, FULL OF CRIES

She's top tier. Can't believe chink batman chose a dead loli over a prime Christmas keiki.

What would be awesome is if they did an anime prequel about the war in South America. So know more about Hei's sis and Amber.

I don't really remember what this show was about. I only remember that MC was a hobo in second season and that he made a alternative world or some shit.

No, stop pretending second season doesn't exist.
We must remember the sin gooks committed. The sin they will pay for.

I barely remember Darker than Black. It's basically the same things as Dimension W right?

Well Dimension W's Kyoma is basically Hei.

Seriously he even looked the part, Kyoma is more Hei than early season 2 Hei

First girl best girl aka Chiaki.
And the 1st and 2nd episode are the best out of the series.

There was so much potential in this series, but somehow they progressively screwed it up.

Anyways, series connected to me back in 2007, when I was severely depressed.

Good taste

Dat scene.

Season 2 gave us most of the story, it's not their fault you have no reading comprehension.

season 1
>main character is a bad guy
>main character might not be a bad guy?
>main character keeps being a bad guy
season 2
>main character isn't even a guy

There was a nice tug and pull with the audience, season 2 was just screaming and getting dissapointed.

There should be more anime with a night - day contrast in which MC also leads a double life.

>I watched the alternatives

Mind naming some?

AND MY HEART IS FILLED WITH LIES

NOW I'VE LOST IT

fucking hell Sup Forums...come on

Makes me glad I haven't finished watching S2, sound like a load of shit. Also, they made Yin a dude? Sounds fucking hilarious, this board must've went ape shit.

I KNOW I CAN KILL

>I really want to know what the fuck is up with those gates
You mean, aside from being mere plot devices? Probably not much. They're only more mysterious than they need to be because they bring an atmosphere.

THE TRUTH EXISTS BEYOND THE GATES

Yeah DtB was pretty good

It's such a shame they never made a second season, right?

It's funny you talk about reading comprehension when that image you posted has literally 100s of typos.

Plus, it doesn't say what the gates are.

I like Amber
