A lot of it is just randomly walking around trying to figure shit out so it really hard to determine how long would it take you.
Takes a couple of hours if you use a guide, though.

I recommend not doing that unless you are pretty much fluent and really have to search to find new words, in which case just load up wikipedia on your subject of interest and start mining.
