Rome was only Christianized because it was politically convenient to do so, not because Constantine believed in the false Jewish messiah. This was the only way the intellectuals of Europe could engage in academic pursuits. This means entire generations of scholarly men's bloodlines were squandered in service to the Church for hundreds of years, making Christianity the most dysgenic phenomenon to ever infect Europe, even worse than the Black Death!
