Also right now catalonia people has a very big pool of high skilled people that they will lose (many very skill people of spain moves to barcelona since there is the second biggest city in spain, same happends in madrid)
Culturaly speaking, they are pro inmigration so they will receive same ammount of inmigraation or more, also the spanish living there will maybe turn nationalistics causing problems with manifestations and shit like that.
At the long run absolutly nothing lose, just converts from being the 14 economy to two separate economies with less power of decision in europe theater with less workforce available
