B-52s carry ALCMs now. ALCMs can be armed with conventional explosives or can be nuclear-tipped. Really unlikely they'll ever carry a true nuclear bomb again.

The F-22 seems like a decent platform way ahead of its own time,maybe they are doing a conversion so it can do PPS or CAS missions

ICBMs are gonna be a last resort, next to bombers and subs. it's the 'holy trinity', meaning if one option gets knocked out, another can still deliver a payload. there's redundancy for everything in the military.

2. Because we aren't going to use nukes unless the shit totally hits the fan. Even against NK we won't use nukes unless they use them first.
