What did he mean by this

what did he mean by this

I don't know, user, because I've forgotten the context.

>Heart

Kubo in da house

>scanlations never
This is like one of the two best ongoing manga, and I seem to be the only one who thinks so.

>two best ongoing manga
You need to read more manga then. Birdmen is good but there are other options.

I love Birdmen exactly because I've read so much shounen. It shines in contrast to all the good and bad I've seen in the genre.
People can have different opinions than you, who knew!

It kinda lost me with all the sidestory chapters about the other group of Birdmen. And too much fujobait, the girl barely even appears.

Okay name them so I can laugh at you wholeheartedly. Your post is just another one of those 'my taste > your taste' claims without substantial evidents to back it up.

>the girl barely even appears.
I expect that to become a plot point. She keeps mentioning her otouto, I think it'll become relevant.

You meant to quote right?

Not really since I'm not one of those faggots who think they are qualified to judge a manga's quality based on numbers of manga they claimed 'reading' even though they don't understand what they said and don't mention any examples.
See

more importantly why does our boi blush every time he comes into contact with takayama

The post you take issue with is an user saying Birdmen is one of his favourite among all the shounen he has read. He even says it's just his opinion.

Yet you have no problem with the other post (yours?) that says that anyone who thinks Birdmen is one of the best ongoing manga obviously hasn't read enough manga.

Only one of those posts is trying to portray their opinion on a manga's quality as fact and it's not the one you're annoyed about.

Because Shounen Sunday has been taken ove by fujos.

Actually I know I was replying to two different posters. However, the latter doesn't understand my issue with the first one
>one of two best ongoing manga
If you dare, post it in any manga discussions and watch people's reaction. Tastes, opinions, etc. I don't fucking care but when you pull such an ignorant claim like that no one's gonna take you seriously. Heck it looks just like another dumb post in every Big 3 threads in Sup Forums
Then the latter butts in just to assert his opinion
>hurr durr I read so many shounen obviously I know which is bad/good
If you read a lot, good for you. Just don't reply without knowing what's going on because you make yourself look like a complete retard.

It means no one desire to scan it.

He means chapters when

Your post is the exact same thing you're accusing the other guy of. There is no difference between
>i think this is the best, no reasons given
and
>youre wrong, theres better, no reasons given

You provided no examples of better manga, cited no a single characteristic by which to compared anything--you didn't provided a single qualification other than spouting your bullshit opinion and essentially demanding to be taken seriously.

Go fuck yourself, assclown. People like you are way more fucking annoying and outright stupid than the other guy.

I'd rather have more Kekkaishi than this.

Have you ever heard of Burden of proof ? The one I first replied to put a claim and so I disputed it. There's a clear difference here.
>Go fuck yourself, assclown. People like you are way more fucking annoying and outright stupid than the other guy.
Nice argument. You sure show me how to prove your point and your childish mentality.

Bad news for you. Tanabe said on her twitter that she didn't plan to continue Kekkaishi any time soon.

Can't believe how lacking in awareness you are. What's wrong with him thinking it's one of the two best ongoing manga? How is that worse than you thinking him thinking that is ignorant and dumb?

I don't know, but will this ever get consistent translations?

Did you actually criticize me because I gave him an advice to read more manga in order to make better judgements ? Are you that sensitive ?

I'm criticsising you becuase you somehow can't accept that he likes this manga more than you do.

That the translators would drop this series and try and compete with Mangastream.
>I expect that to become a plot point. She keeps mentioning her otouto, I think it'll become relevant.
It kind of already is, at least as far as how she fits in with the group and the rate of her growth, her isolation is doing something to her.

>I have reading comprehension of a 5 year old kid

>Love Birdmen
>Sup Forums Ignores Birdmen
-
>See Birdmen thread once a year
>It's some retard fighting with another retard

Go fuck yourself I hope you die in a fire

It says on the SLs website they'll catch up soon but I don't know how long it has said that.

Have some graffiti Fox.

It'd have to have been pretty recent for it not to clearly be lying

Hey user. Since you asked so nicely and seem mature enough to handle a discussion I'll mention that my favourite ongoing manga atm are
>Birdmen
>Houseki no kuni

This guy right here might be what makes birdmen top tier imo.

>Houseki no kuni
Is that you user?

Where are the translations, though?

I...don't understand what you're asking me.

Both are good, but are they the only manga you're following now ? That's harsh for you because Sup Forums rarely discuss them.
I think you're the first one to say Taka makes more of an impact to the manga's overall quality since most fans actually prefer Karasuma. He also doesn't have much screen time compared to others. And Arthur is dead. I'm not even sure what the author was thinking.

nevermind, thought you were one of the 5 people on Sup Forums who shows up for the Houseki no kuni threads. You should pop in whenever a new chapter comes up.

Nah I follow plenty but those are my two top picks.

Now I do love karasuma as the mc but what makes Taka so great as a supporting character is that he is both the mentor and the echo of what katasuma is progressing into. Instead of just being higher level he is portrayed as being apart rather than above. He is the best at using their powers and probably knows the most about it yet he's grown alien to the human condition and you almost pity him his lack of empathy and understanding. Since I think the characters are greatly fleshed out I also feel it when they express joy for flying or fear for their enemies. In no other manga have I given a shit when the characters asked themselves, what is it to be a hero. But in this I do. Even more so when you consider the emotional drift of feeling apart from humanity as their powers grow.

And some of the faces Taka makes gives me shivers. Masterfully depicted otherness.

Oh, yes I am one of those five.
I avoid them now since recently some fantastic person post spoilers of non english scnlated chapters.

...

...

It's dead.

...

>he is portrayed as being apart rather than above
Not anymore.
And if the latest autograph event is any indication, some fans find his 'otherness' scary. Seems like those people just read only shoujo and kodomo manga until now.
For a character-driven story Birdmen has a very slow pace and a weak opening, after a while the plot just goes nowhere. I think that's why most scan groups drop the series.

...

Volume 8 release, when?

>Tanabe knows how young boys think

>best bro
I loved how it seemed he was going to be the bully antagonist at first.

2fujo5me

Not Fujo enuff imo

How many chapter behind raws are we?

Needs more handholds.

13?

>spoiler
I really wonder what went down. All I know is that glasses man and another member of Eden were stringing Arthur along and it got a lot of Birdmen killed. Then hanzo killed the man with the glasses.

Alexanon is that you?

No it's octoberanon

Oh, sorry for bothering than. Still, nice to see you.

my EXACT reaction to this thread as well
