Preferring womyn IS the law you shitlord check your legal privilege
Luis Clark
What an idiot wrote this code? As if it wasn't simplier to put numbers into array and iterate over it looking for match.
Angel White
Someone explain the joke to me.
Why is there a class that looks like it does nothing?
Easton Foster
Loops are very advanced
Nathaniel Parker
you'd be surprised at the quality of the code some companies are willing to pay ten rupees for
Jeremiah Ross
It'd be easier just to do userNumber % 2 and print that it is even if the result is 0 or print odd if it's 1.
Julian Gonzalez
No I wouldn't, unfortunately I'm no longer surprised. I just sometimes cry a lot when we have to fix project of some cheap fuck who thought street shitters know how to code.
Jacob Morris
well, that is the joke
i hate to be the first one to karliepost
Anthony Edwards
>female programmers
Oliver Cook
% are forbidden in code by feminists, as they represent penis and balls.
Luckily, you can check it with (int(x * 1.5) == x*1.5). This way you can't be fired by your HR tumblrlady
Noah Lopez
>working for any university >ever
Owen Flores
>literally go to this university >this is also the department I go to >literally have a lecture in the first semester that requires you to read pic related >this is real life >pls nuke us already
Jace Brooks
this is not a fucking joke guys
Ayden Green
friend attends Queen's University Belfast, same shit there
ps. thought this new PM guy was redpilled?
Nathan Gonzalez
gets me every time
Wyatt Rivera
>%
David Wilson
did you check your privilege today yet? to bad you can't because privilege
Isaiah Lewis
Please stop asserting your dominance by putting % everywhere, don't you think I don't know what you're doing.
Angel Anderson
Draw some poop swastikas on the walls that'll show em
Michael Robinson
check this put even the qualifications are fuzzy and based on not hurting her feewings
Lincoln Rivera
102
Kevin Reyes
I know the code on the left is John Carmack's Quake code, but how hard is to come up with something like that?
James Jones
overflow error, obviously
Camden Brown
do these two even do the same shit? >right takes a float and add, multiplies and shit and returns a float? >left just compares?
Cooper Bennett
Not hard at all, if you have some 25 years of experience that is.
Nicholas Sullivan
why does the letter 'w' look so weird? almost like it's a different font
John Rodriguez
This is beyond retarded
Luis Hernandez
Why is it in english and not german?
Jose Perez
Kek. Once a girl in my class hardcoded FizzBuzz to 1000.
Jordan Reed
Sue them.
Christian Reed
The code on the left does some pretty fast and efficient computation on the square root of a number (as the title says)
As for the code on the right, ponder on this line >if(a>b && b
Jose Thomas
That might be Carmack's code but he didn't invent the fast inverse square root. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fast_inverse_square_root (see History and investigation) Coming up with something like that is hard, it is not intuitive nor obvious. You could be programming your entire life and never need, encounter, use, or decide to develop something like that on your own. It's probably the worst example of "when guys code" you could pick. Karlie Kloss would not understand it if you gave her 100 years to study.
Angel Morris
Well, did you let her buzz on your fizz, if you know what I mean?
Adam Lewis
its actually a pretty advanced way of doing it through memory.
Ryan Ortiz
>mfw she thinks she called for the values outside of brackets
Aiden Ramirez
It was my privilege.
Nathan Martinez
>Println "Fuck this gay earth"
Ian Bailey
>using an array and iteration to find if a number is even
Wew lad. You just memory leaked my shit there
Jack Robinson
I'll try.
Owen Green
>If (a > b && b < a) >Somehow returns "a" despite later chunk of if statement completely nullifying the point of the line.
>On top of that 2nd else returns 5 because she doesn't now how to or.
>Mfw the plane nose dives because "So random yay" :D
Adam Turner
See >cd code >cd .. >cd code >cd ..
You implying something about Karlie there?
Noah Perry
What's the joke here? I see multiple legit use cases for that class. >a) that constructor is used a lot and the order is known beforehand >b) The coordinates describe a plane (i.e. min-max is nontrivial due to orientation) >c) multiple instances of _Product are passed to other methods and they wanted to avoid integer and/or parameter soup
>implying she didn't >what is case sensitivity
Jaxson Thomas
Yeah, it's taken out of context. To me it looks like piece of code done by 1st year student learning OP (Product class and primitive members)
Jonathan Rogers
>this is the end of the program! see you guys later xD
Why do I even bother STEM posting? Some of you ruin it for the rest of us by forgetting where you are.
Andrew Adams
Exactly >ConsoleApplication2
What triggers me is the easter egg when a==b. And it's not a program, it's a method.
You need to take your meds, your post is unintelligible.
Daniel Russell
>What Is bait for people willing to fake knowledge for (you)'s on a Mongolian weaving site?
The entire point of OP's post...
T. Computer Sci fag that was almost joyful upon seeing this intersectional thread.
Jackson Rivera
since this is c# the correct syntax would be (float)x*1.5==(float)Math.Ceiling((float)x*1.5)(I put in the extra float because I do not remember if Math.Ceiling() can return a float, I have not programmed in a while)
Grayson Johnson
it could be argued that who ever is programming this is just learning about classes, so I would not be too hard on them.
James Wilson
>What Is bait for people willing to fake knowledge for (you)'s on a Mongolian weaving site? Seriously, I've been accosted by homeless people who've spoken more coherent English than you. So OP's point was to bait people into pretending they know about programming? What?
Wyatt Perry
you just typed that didint you shill? what uni in austria has courses in engliush ??
Jeremiah Anderson
GTFO object oriented new school bitch fux. Code fckn assembler or go to fucking hell bitch
Brody Jones
Are you retarded? Even my noname german uni only offers courses in english because of all the people from other nations studying here basically for free.
Caleb Carter
stupid gui reliant sissy faggots
Andrew Cook
VI OR EMACS?!
Mason Miller
Only shitlords use numbers over 100
Hudson Diaz
umm, never compare floats without epsilon. My example used double for a reason.
Ryan Cox
pico
Jonathan Flores
we need to stop all slave databases, backups are racist
nigga i built a microprocessor out of a toaster and archlinuxed it so I could bash :(){:|:&};: on that shit. obama nearly called me to the white house, he thought it was a clock
Blake Hall
Imagine you are paid by amount of code wrote. That's why
Nolan James
would be awesome just write thousands of lines of code inside functions that never get called
John Moore
kek you could have cashed in on that idea, but others did it first. it's called windows
