I was thinking of naming my son Trajan or Hadrian. I think Hadrian would draw less confused looks since Adrian is already a name I've encountered. Trajan would be easy to shorten to just T for a nickname. If it weren't for niggers I'd go with Marcus. The Antonines had such good names.

Are you actually of Southern European descent? You should pick a name that is from your father’s ethnic group, if you don’t you just look silly

Anything with a classical sound, preferably from Latin origins. Traditional Catholic names are also fine.
That's what I did for my sons, no regrets.
Also, never under any circumstance let your wife have too much of a choice in that matter. They're great at finding what looks cute or is / will be hype but poor at finding something on which the child will be able to build an identity.
Mine unironically wanted to name our first born son Tyler.

Depends on your heritage. Many nordic/saxon names sound alpha, especailly older ones. Harald, Hakon, Bjorn, Ivar. Some are kinda larpy but I like Bjorn. Means Bear, since you are aussie you are probably anglo and saxon is Beorn.
Saxon names are cool too, Godwin sounds alpha
