It was my Blue's Clues, something I watched everyday just to get comfy.

I can't believe it hasnt been fully scanlated when Family compo has.

Movie was awesome.

I like it. Somehow this thread made me want to look back on the openings. They are all great.

Can Ryo's boner defeat Goku?

Endless Cockblock: The Anime

Why is Jackie Chan dressed as Chun Lee?

l grew up reading it, one of my favorite manga

saeba is a great protag, it's funny as fuck, art is amazing, it does romance well and is actually pretty unique for a shonen jump series

Somehow after being thrown into arcade game they became video game character. I forgot the detail.

K-drama was fucking awful and City Hunter in name only

I agree:

The transition to ED is great as well.

Never finished it. Friend loved series though when he watched it a few years back.
It's fun

Tell me about it.

that Saeko is a great waifu

Too nineties for my taste

I JUST WANNA GO GO GO GO
I JUST WANNA GOGOGOGOGO!

Best OP.

It was fun at first but this show gets boring too fast, most episodes just look the same.

>hot girl of the week is in danger
>hot girl of the week search Ryo and ask for help
>Ryo spends half the episode trying to fuck the hot girl of the week
>at the end, Ryo defeat the bad guy
>hot girl of the week falls in love with Ryo
>Ryo leaves without fucking the hot girl of the week

You forgot

>Kaori kinkshames Ryo with a hammer

Can Ryo beat Duke Togo?

Sounds kind of like Golden Boy.

I made a drinking game out of this show. Take a drink at the start of the show, the end of the show, every time Ryo says mokkori, and every time Ryo sexually harasses someone. You get drunk after a few eps. Great show on its own too.

Ryo is my rolemodel

You can get drunk with one episode. Or two

For me it never got boring really

>anons don't get wild and tough
you're all faggots

>be me
>wants to see some pics of City Hunter on google.
>Search "City Hunter"
>bunch of live action images
>takes mutliple scrolls to even see something relevant.
>end page

okay, what is this shit? Did I mis something?

Korean dorama shares the name.

>file name

Technically it's an adaptation but at some point someone on the studio realized they couldn't market City Hunter to the housewives so they butchered the material to the point it only shares the name with the original manga, what make pointless to buy the rights in the first place

Fak

At least change the fucking name so that it doesn't flood the shit when we want to search for the original

Fight scene in an arcade became an homage to Street Fighter II. Very silly.

If you want to rage hard, read the reviews from the landwhales claiming the K-drama is an improvement over the anime/manga on every level

...

Goddamit.
By the way, where do I find those reviews?

What's the best place to start with this? Is there some good film, ova or anything like that?

Production order.

There's the manga path, which is not finished since not all chapter is translated.

And then there's the anime path, which has plenty of episode translated

In order:

City Hunter (TV 51)
City Hunter 2 (TV 63)
City Hunter: .357 Magnum (Movie)
City Hunter 3 (TV 13)
City Hunter: Million Dollar Conspiracy (OVA)
City Hunter: Bay City Wars (Movie)

It might be a lot, but since City Hunter is episodic series, you can jump around and don't miss much except for new support characters that doesn't show up in every episode.

It's like Urusei Yatsura and Black Jack, you don't need to follow throughley unless you really want to see how the character slowly but sorley evolves.

Any questions anons?

...

Kaoru BEST WAIFU
and MC - just idiot

>Kaoru BEST WAIFU
>Kaoru

Kaoru is a man

That ED and the first OP from the first season are some of the best songs I've ever heard and I'm saying that as someboy who is not a fan of J-pop.

the ED is again one of most favorite by japanese anime fans.

A few episodes had exceptions

>Ryo aids an martial artist babe in fighting yakuza to save a local neighborhood
>a hit is placed on him and babe
>arrive at the bosses place
>whoop their asses and assure they never cause trouble again
>now she wants Ryo to take her under his wing
>Ryo spends another episode trying to get rid of her
>while resisting the urge to bang her

Another one
>a ninja babe wants to kill Ryo to make a name for herself in the underworld
>her and her goons fail constantly
>showdown
>Ryo puts them in their place and the give up on becoming ninjas

One more
>Ryo is hired to take care of a little girl
>babysitter antics ensue

Thought you do have a point, a lot of them involve a girl of the week. Most of which are forgettable. The best ones usually involve Umibozu or Makimura's past

Yes, what about the Evil Ryo?

>The best ones usually involve Umibozu or Makimura's past
And killing shots. I was pissed of when Ryo haven't killed anyone in the majority of the first series' episodes

It makes me happy knowing there people that actually watch City Hunter to this day.

Also, does anyone got pic related without the stupid watermarks

Ooooh boy. I started it in 2014 and STILL not finished the first season.
I only watch it when I remember and feel like it, though.
Overally a great, funny oldschool series.

Did Kaori and Ryo get togehter or do i remember wrong?

Here you go

And here we have the specials.

Since City Hunter: The Secret Service is a sequal to City Hunter '91, you can view that right after that series end.

So where is the rest of it:

City Hunter '91 (TV 13)
City Hunter: The Secret Service (Special)
City Hunter: Goodbye My Sweetheart (Special)
City Hunter - Death of Evil Ryo Saeba (Special)

Of course you don't haft to view it in that order due to the series episodic nature.

However Angel Heart (Spinoff TV 50) can be read/watch after you are finished City Hunter manga/City Hunter '91, since it's set on a parallel reality of City Hunter.

And we also have City Hunter: Ryou no Propose, which I don't know if it's translated yet...

>And killing shots. I was pissed of when Ryo haven't killed anyone in the majority of the first series' episodes
I can only recall one episode in which he killed someone.

An episode, when he kills a boxer, an episode with Makimura's death and the final episode.

>And we also have City Hunter: Ryou no Propose, which I don't know if it's translated yet...
I've been looking for a sub, nothing so far

City Hunter is one of 80/90's series that still holds up to this day. I'm happy that I could remind Sup Forums of this.
