Here's your daily listening practice:

Nice シンプル op

>鰺
God I fucking hate mining fish words, I don't even know fish in english

>上原亞衣

女神だぁ

>mining useless words
Why?

...

No word is useless, user-kun

I mean, sure, if you came across it in the first place then it's not useless, but that's not my point. Some threads ago, an user gave this example and I agree 100%: when you see the word 菊, you don't need to know what the hell a chrysanthemum is, just that it's a kind of flower.

Useless, until you have a menu in front of you written entirely in moonrunes, and you have to blindly point at things like a useless white pig American monkey.

Or you can, you know, ask the waitress/waiter what the fuck a 鰺 is.

>not asking the chef for a suggestion

あ、アジという魚ですけど・・・ followed by a blank stare... Your move chump.

まぁ魚は通常ひらがなかカタカナで表記されていますね。
日常的に食べる魚の漢字は知っていますが、10種類ぐらいでしょう。

Very true, still feel like I'm gunna wanna know what that shit is specifically in the long run though, I can always just delete it if it really gives me that much shit in anki

>真鰺

Welp I regret everything

i don't know any fish in english other than salmon, tuna, sardine and anchovy and ive literally never had this problem

you must have the memory of a goldfish

google.co.jp/#q=鰺

What now, friend.

true i know that one too but i try to repress it because i had one as a kid and my sister flushed it down the toilet ;____;

あ、 イト イザ ビッグ フイッシュ。

>goldfish
You lost him.

What a bitch

So you'd chotto matte her ass, pull out your phone and google it? That's a gaijin move friendo.

>memorizing hiragana now

Boy, this sure is hard. I sure hope this doesn't get even more difficult or anything.

I'm memorizing them using memes I fucking hate myself.

user...

Just brute force them. You'll need them for literally every single thing in the Japanese language, there's no way you'll forget them.

Yes. But then I'd know what a 鯵 is and I'd apologize for pulling a chotto matte on her.

i bet you're from Sup Forums or /vg/ and started learning because of vita piracy. am i wrong?

By the way, is it normal to have trouble distinguishing ne re and wo?

The only difference that I can notice is how curly the end of it is.

>ne and re
Because that IS the only difference, maybe?

Well, normally we only know about 10 kanjis of fish.
In actually, fishes are written by hiragana or katakana in almost.
If I know many kanji of fish I will be praised probably; that's all.

Nah, just started a college course and we're expected to memorize all hiragana by the second class.

My learning is mostly motivated by vidya and anime though.

>Well, normally we only know about 10 kanjis of fish.
Which are the most common ones?

Sounds like you found potentially the only good Japanese class there is.

ぬ め る ろ ね れ わ
You'll make it.

>Nah
good
welcome aboard, がんばって, etc
japanese college classes are shit though, i highly advise against following their schedule

I don't understand what you're trying to say here.

All you have to do is write them 50 times each bitch and then do realkana for a couple hours straight

鰺 あじ
秋刀魚 さんま
鮭 しゃけ,さけ
鰯 いわし
鮎 あゆ
鰻 うなぎ
鯨 くじら
鯖 さば
太刀魚 たちうお
鮪 まぐろ

これで十分。残りは知らなくても良い。

I replied to the wrong post, my bad.

Fuck, this was for you

Man, katakana will give you fits.
シ ツ
マ ム
ン ソ
ク ケ
ル レ
コ ヨ ユ
ウ フ ワ ヲ

Hang in there.

>シ ツ
>ン ソ
AKA 4 reasons why you should learn proper stroke order.

>鮪 まぐろ
いやらしいな

Man, English letters will give you fits.
p q
b d
o c
w v
l i j

Hang in there.

just what i always wanted variety tv thank you

>Well, normally we only know about 10 kanjis of fish.
>In actually, fishes are written by hiragana or katakana in almost.
>If I know many kanji of fish I will be praised probably; that's all.

Well, normally we only know about 10 fish kanji
In reality, fish are almost always written in hiragana or katakana
If you knew a lot of fish kanji you'd probably be praised

Slight corrections if you were interested

It's hard to focus on reading when I want to jerk off. Nukige is a blessing for that.

Those never gave my problems after I saw that one picture about the stoke order, can't remember what it was though

Some are just not worth your time studying over other words. Prioritize.

Thanks for the help, everyone.
I'll come to these threads more from now on.

I know hiragana are like, the easiest Japanese letters to memorize, so the fact that I'm even slightly having trouble is making me worried.

Still, I'll keep trying.

>variety tv
Maybe learn Japanese and try watching it again.

日本人ですねw

True, although I have 15k mined words so the shit I have left to mine tends to be more on the useless side of things

How often does your class meet each week?

>I'll keep trying
That's one of - if not THE - best things you can do.

i mean on the real i saw the thumbnail and replied i had no intention to watch w/e it is

Here's the big secret: learning Japanese isn't DIFFICULT. It's just time consuming as all fuck.

If you put in the time, it will come. What people mean when they say it's difficult is really "hard to focus for long enough and put in the time required". They are probably using terrible / inefficient learning methods too.

Follow the guide, and when you get to the reading stage, make sure it's REALLY interesting. So much so that slogging through really slowly is still fun enough to put in the effort. Never stop.

Have you at least read the guide?

It's a dating show with 7 normal contestants and 1 planted slut whose goal it is to suck all the guys off. Hosted by Razor Ramon (Hard Gay). It's the apex of Japanese television.

What does she say after すばらしい?

It looks like somethingになる

Those dating shows are cringey as fuck no matter how many porn stars you plant in them tbqh

I'll stick to gaki and those idol webm threads on /wsg/

Three times.

Yeah, awhile ago, though. I should give it another read.

oh i love sluts and hg was my fave dude a decade ago let me fire this right up

...

Yuzuko official djt mascot confirmed

What's the difference between 子供 and 子? Do they have the same meaning?

The timed accel world subs use a lot of kyuujitai/chinese kanji for normal words. Just fyi for anyone who might watch them, don't bother mining 舞臺 cause as far as I can tell shit is just 舞台

How exactly does stroke order help you with differentiating these?

停学処分

How would you translate this?

Not just these, but a lot of kanji will look very different depending on how your hand flows when writing the character.

Holy fuck do I need to read more.

That handwritten そ makes my dick hard

I can't draw that fucker to save my life

Mind=blown

gettin suspended

how long have you been studying for senpai

The pleasure of being cummed inside.

What do YOU think it means?

Only a confident hand can create beauty.

A year and a half.

(Being) suspended from school.

Well it's just that in English we wouldn't say "suspension punishment" which is why I was wondering how you'd translate it.

Thanks!

>been studying Japanese for more than 3 years
>just realized bottom part of あ is literally め
>あ is め with 一

Blew my mind.

damn...

woah....

oh my...

Deepest lore

really makes you think...

sincerely stimulates thy brain receptors...

>been studying Japanese for more than a month
>just realized が is literally か with a quotation mark
Damn...

If you put two v's next to each other, it becomes a w
vv w vv w vv w vv w

>yfw か is カ without the dash

天 is heaven and 十 is a cross what does it mean

holy shit

JESUS I LOVE YOU

一 is one bar so it means one, and if you stack two on top of each other it becomes 二, which is two! And if you put another onto it you fucking get 三, which is three holy fucking shit it all makes sense now!

>yfw 力 is カ

We can go deeper than that...

Yes, it's real. Rikai it.

>カ
>刀
>刀 is pronounced as カタナ
>KAtana
>mfw

The word suspension in its original meaning only corresponds to the 停 in 停学処分, but it takes on the punishment of suspension from school as an additional meaning.
Nothing else needs to be added, unless it's required by context.

So how do you guys deal with studying when tired? Because sometimes you really can't get enough sleep. Insomnia is a thing and it sucks really hard.

Coffee / tea, being cold and listening to ambience has been helping, is there anything else to help stop my eyes from unfocusing / brain fog in general?

DELETE THIS

i never get tired because neet masterrace, so i can wake up whenever i want
just take a nap ファム
