The professor doesn't want to open that can or worms because it's politically incorrect and could get her fired or any research she does discredited by ((them)). It's the same with historians. I knew a lot of history professors who were very smart and seemed pretty redpilled on a lot of topics. If anyone got anywhere near asking them if holocaust numbers were accurate or if the narrative is exactly how other ((historians)) say it was they would get fidgety and uncomfortable, give a brief PC response and change the topic.

Yes, twice. Once was in a history of the soviet union course where a classmate started asking too many questions about the jewish influence on the revolution and communism, then a different semester it popped up during a project someone was working on for historiography (history of how historians have viewed historical events/topics over time) and someone was working on a project about the holocaust and asked some uncomfortable questions about the massive swings in numbers of people killed at specific camps.
