I sure do

Is that the ne-ranger?

No. Refresh my mind.

Uh oh. Coincidentally, I'm rewatching this right now!

I watched it because of her leg game.

>tfw you will never play Metroid Prime Hunters 2

...

how could you not remember best archer

that's why they call themselves A-1 pictures, because damn is that some saucy meat

She was actually kinda a mediocre archer. Spent her money to learn close-combat stuff though, which ain't a bad idea if you're gonna fight in enclosed space.

To be fair she gets a lot better.

She just prefers to spec into a more close-combat role after opening with an arrow shot.

SEVEN EXECUTIONS

Remember me?

Best girl of the year all years.

You don't forget an ass like that, OP.

who?

The Rem (aka shitty waifubait) of that season. Ironic how both shows are isekai garbage too

>isekai garbage
Grimgar is isekai done right though. None of this 'hurr, I was a worthless NEET, then I randomly died and now I'm in fantasy RPG land and have super powers?!' crap, just hard survival mode in an unfamiliar world.

Heck. Technically, those scrubs wouldn't even need to be from another world, because without any memories, their connection to a past life is absolutely irrelevant.
Basically, Grimgar was about showing how dreadfully dull, boring, unspectacular, harsh and shitty life would be for your typical modern 20th/21st century person from a first world nation in a fantasy world as depicted in a typical standard Advanced Dungeons & Dragons or Wizardry setting, with no amenities like modern toilets and instant good food.
The scrubs were so poor, they even had to carefully wash their underwear by hand lest it tears and becomes unusable.
Git gud or die.

eyy it's Grimgar long time no see

still uninteresting, modern people finding themselves in dragonquest land
why not something different.
like
why not have have the post apocalyptic mad max type raiders find themselves in an rpg world instead?

There's literally nothing wrong with "waifubait". Sex sells, cute sells, moe sells.

Your criticism means so little when you type like a retard.

>Update
needs more porn

KATANAH

He has the point , it is essentially the same story over and over with slight variations.

Mad max raiders being reborn/transported to a fantasy world is also nothing more but a variation.

yeah that doesn't mean all the other shit isn't.

>it is essentially the same story over and over
Except it's not. Most isekai take a lighthearted, comedic approach to the story telling, even if the plot has serious elements in it. Grimgar does not. It has a heavy atmosphere and sets up incredible tension that you find lacking in other isekai stories.

...

merry is best girl and will win

She and the thief sensei made me really hard while watching this show

Season 2 when?

I wouldn't put any hopes for it, because one of the more influential production committee member was a music label, and the music band it tried to promote through the anime apparently didn't sell their songs that well, so it's highly unlikely that they're gonna co-finance the anime further for it.
With one sponsor less, that means that the rest have to shoulder more of the costs by themselves.

On the other hand, when reading the data at someanithing.com, apparently, the sales of the anime discs themselves look rather okay though, so perhaps a second season can and will still happen.

This. Main reason I liked the show.

I remember the ass but the show is garbage

Captures of her ass is the only thing I still have of that shit.

I'm still waiting.

>hating on something just because of the grouping it belongs to

Literally nothing matters except the story and how it's told--regardless of genre.

did the blue one win or this red slut

This scene was cute as fuck.
Red > Blue

It was a wonderful scene

Remember me?

>The Rem (aka shitty waifubait) of that season

You stupid faggot.
Theres literally a Rem in the anime and its not Yomi.

>Yume
>Rem-tier waifubait
What? Yume was her own character. in the same way the rest of the cast has their own issues.
She isn't in the plot solely to be Haru's love interest (and neither is Merry), or to serve as a plot device for his character development.

I FEEL YOU
SO CLOSE TO ME

>Faggots trying to ship when this scene was just friends trying to cope with the loss of Manato

I fucking hate you people.

Grimgar is like SAO from the perspective of the complete other side of the spectrum.

Kirito was an overpowered putz, but these guys are comically weak and lame. Which is especially annoying because they'll never explore the world outside of their little town and go slay dragons and other cool shit because they're just so shit tier.

But they will, as they do get better - gradually, as should be.

Nooice. I have faith.

...

I will never forget.

Its somehow more sleep inducing than .hack and Log Horizon

This was a really good show. A-1 is an underappreciated studio, at least around Sup Forums.

>Yumefag apologists

She's a retard who makes retard choices. Stop defending a literal retard.

Always

>watching kyoanus
>inb4 give it a chance
I saw the reactions to it when it finished up. I made the right call.

Blue won.

Blue hasn't won shit yet. What she has won is a knife between her tits for being a traitor.

Daily reminder that Yume didn't know what anal sex was.

>no hmanga of her nice butt

Not even that ass could make this snorefest worth watching.

shit taste.

Did anyone actually enjoyed this show? I'm at ep. 6 but it's a painfully forced drama. I liek'd the ass tho.

Of course there were people who enjoyed it.
Fantasy is always popular.

My memories seems obscure, maybe some animooted webms could jog them.

It's an isekai with a bit of humanistic approach. It's interesting.
But if you find it boring just drop it. No one's gonna yell at you.

...

Ranta did nothing wrong and Mary ruined everything.

She's super cute and all, but the way she speaks annoys the hell out of me. JUST SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH!

Such shows kinda make me want to play an RPG like that, set in a similar setting. No special snowflake bullshit and you earn what you work for. The only games that had a similar feeling to it were Gothic 1 and 2, and Dragon's Dogma on Hard Mode.

Did that ass just talk?

Creepy.

Renji is Kirito. Haruhiro's party is fodder.

Haru promised to give his eye to Setora in order to get help to save Mary, and he did manage to save her at the end of volume 8 with him almos killing Ranta.

Volume 9 was released a week ago, we're going to see how this is going to turn out soon. Can't wait.

Haru forgot about bros before hoes.

Mary is his broette.

...

Coincidentally I just finished binging this show.

Was really good, one of the best isekai shows I've ever seen. The somewhat bland character designs for about half the cast didn't even bother me, as it felt like it fit the setting.
It's a realistic fantasy world, of course you don't have flashy armor or weapons or ridiculous hairstyles.
I think it started out really slow, and could have spent some time in the first episode fleshing out the characters a little more.
Of all of them, only Hal, Mary, and Ranta really got fleshed out with actual development.
I'm glad that of all the characters they chose to flesh out Ranta a bit because holy shit, my opinion of him turned around real fast in the end.
If we get a season 2, I'd like to see the rest get properly fleshed out and developed.

Yume is best girl, with best butt

Yume getting raped by Moguzo would be pretty hot.

He's ded, Jim

A second season would be great since it would deal mostly with the attack on the orc fortress.

S2 never tho

>Metroid Prime Hunters
All the hackers that made online unplayable.
It was a real fun game though.

Here's a trick: take an isekai story, remove the "transported from another world" bit.

Would it change the story in any way whatsoever if the character had no skills because he was an amnesiac?

Isekai is a shit plot device because it never fucking adds anything. I can't stand when people call it a genre. It's just tacked on at the beginning of most of this bog-standard fantasy crap and never brought up again.

Fucking boggles the mind.

Having the MC being clueless about the world allows for very easy exposition.

If the charactets are native you need more talent to avoid infodumps while fleshing out the world.

In Grimgar they actually do travel to other worlds and Haru in particular meets a girl that he had known in his world. I'm not sure if they're still trying to get back to their own world though or are just contempt with travelling from world to world.

Could as well be accomplished by making the MC just another peasant in just another fief in bumfuck nowhere.

Or I dunno, just gitgud at infodumping maybe?

I just want Tensei Slime to get an anime.

So it probably wouldn't change anything if the character was clueless 'cus he got bopped on the head then?

I'm not saying amnesia is good either, but it's exactly the same shit, and you wouldn't call Amnesiac a genre.

Well kudos to Grimgar for not forgetting about the introductory plot device then.

One of the moments most worth watching in the series.

Meanwhile Mary almost ended up as sex slave for Goblins, Orcs, and Kobolds.

topkek.

Yumenaa.

youtu.be/R8sSS_VptAE

There was one scene that I remember mostly, her talking about a fucking dog or whatever. That was almost ASMR.

Ranta did nothing wrong

I liked this show. Plot wasn't bad, characters were likeable for the most part, and I'm a fantasyfag so I'll watch almost anything with swords and sorcery. Why didn't people like it? Too slow? They weren't killing dragons with kitchen knives?
Faggots not protecting the healer is my only complaint.
