Well, this made me do an autistic amount of checking, and I've now come to the conclusion that Geass has the second-most straight H-doujinshi of any anime original franchise, only behind the entirety of Gundam (if you include adapted franchises, then KanColle and Idolm@ster also go ahead of it). Just in case anyone was wondering.

I didn't watch Code Geass for the character designs or the animation, although there were some pretty good girls. I don't want to watch the same thing again if I remember exactly what happened.

Oh, a new story. Yeah, I think everyone would prefer a sequel to an exact remake, although I suspect many of us would still watch a remake, just like we would and/or do rewatch the show itself.

Well, I mean, I thought a sequel or a prequel would be nice, but then I saw Akito the Exiled. I really don't have high hopes for CG, but I guess I might not like a lot of Sunrise's anime in the past while.

Akito didn't have the characters people cared about, that's the issue.

Sunrise and CG are bigger than Index and JC Staff, so they'll probably actually do something bigger than that. I didn't remember until I googled it.
