I've thought of something but Kirigiri did infact wake up and did intact use this mysterious cure that she may have found on Seiko as the bottle we saw near her when the others found her was there.

She was trying to solve the final mystery and get the last clues over to Naegi and co. as we see the zoom to her notepad right next to her corpse. She definitely opened it and wrote something on it and it's important.

So the cure would have her beat back whatever potion or sleeping portion the bracelets inject them with so she can go about her business and while investigating, she may or may not have seen the attacker. She writes this identity down for Naegi along with clues to unravel and reveal everything. She was able to do her job as a detective right to the very end and solved the last piece of clue to the mystery. She returned to where everyone is and wrote what she found down and once the fourth sleep time limit was completely done she had succumb to her NG Code and died after finish writing everything down. That's why her notebook is literally right next to her and why it showed us this.

This actually makes sense. It's never said how long each sleep portion is with each cycle. Could be an hour or so. Enough time for Kirigiri to do some detective work with nobody to get in her way besides the attacker.

I feel it's probably going to be a throwback to DR1 with Kirigiri doing investigation in the darkness of everything and would then bump into the mastermind. Maybe here she saw the attacker but wasn't seen by the attacker since they already killed Ruruka.
