As expected, Souma wants to investigate the bears' diet.

>Food Wars
Jeremiah Foster
is he gonna eat their shit to find out?
Henry Walker
Paging doctor Royal also >food wars
Connor Bailey
He compares the bear to ayu, a type of fish that has a sweet taste resembling watermelon. Just as the fish gets this flavor from eating moss, so too must the bear have something special about its habitat and food source.
Meanwhile, Kuga berates him for not taking the hike seriously. Kuga and his baldies have come with all kinds of equipment and baggage, which Souma just kinda goes "gee wow" at.
Jackson Gray
Food wars is a superior name for the series for sure
Joseph Brooks
>Tsukasa talks to the animals he cooks >now Souma is going on a soul trip to become a bear I just wanted to read a cooking manga
Christian Diaz
I wish I were that deer (the one being pet by best girl, not being eaten).
Colton Williams
I want to be both desu
Brody Thompson
Here in Norway we often have foreigner tourists who climb the mountains and get stuck with too little clothes. I guess it's something like that.
Jaxson Carter
>Souma gets a fever >Shokugeki no Soma becomes a survival manga
Jackson Peterson
>Souma gets a Japanese cold >Shokugeki no Soma becomes a survival manga

Gabriel Wood
>Finally overcoming the Japanese cold while making it to the base of the mountain >Gets on the road coming out of the forest finally seeing civilization again >Incoming Truck-kun while Souma still has lingering damage >Shokugeki no Soma becomes an Isekai manga
Nicholas Foster
>souma gets whatever erina has why couldn't it have been matsuoka thats dying
Gabriel Hill
Matsuoka is the ultimate Gary Stu.
Landon Reed
He has voiced too many people lately, since he's a one trick pony it gets kind of annoying.
Aaron Wood
Take Takumi instead, he's the definition of expendable
Luke Hall
Anyone got a link to the viz chapters?
Julian Gomez
We're not getting s3 anyway. who gives an actual fuck if erina's seiyuu dies?
Kayden Taylor
Takumi's VA is getting married instead. Don't ruin families, user.
Levi Clark
Royal posted last week that says he is busy nowadays and won't translate as much.
Josiah Cox
Read up to the autumn top 8 arc. Rate my top 3 so far.

But I barely know anything about her besides her crush on Souma dad
>Good, good, meh
I mean, I know Yuki is a side character that's on her way to being fully irrelevant, but there's something I find interesting about her.
Nolan Price
Please no, I still need him to voice Hoshitani.
Elijah Stewart
This, you were 2/3 and then you blew it
Noah Gray
SnS Bear Grylls edition
David Watson
>But I barely know anything about her besides her crush on Souma dad Erina doesn't have a crush on him user.
Logan Ramirez
rude
Andrew Powell
Gonna be weird as fuck when Erina actually starts having a crush on Soma
Jaxon Ward
She would try to act like the heroine in her shoujo manga.
Jaxson Flores
and she'd get pissed off and pouty-tsun when he won't react like a soujo hero (because since he's a SHONEN hero, he's clueless to wooing)
Julian Peterson
She's dense as fuck so she's gonna spill the spaghetti even harder and won't even understand what the fuck is happening.
It'll be funny as hell.
Michael Hill
We're going to get a k-kissu by chapter 300, aren't we?
Evan Gray
Erina is going to start acting on her feelings in the last chapter, just before the timeskip This is a non-romance shounen, it's not going to have a real romance in it (other than the usual "uguu~~ i think i'm in love with him but i won't confess")
John Miller
We are not getting a kissu at all.
Elijah Allen
B-but muh girl to cook for.
Adam Reyes
Nah
Handholding at best.
Jonathan Walker
>not believing in Tsukuda
Let me dream, man.
Grayson James
It's been so long since we got a Megumi-centric chapters now that I think about it Thank god, feels so good
Alexander Wilson
>we will never get chapters solely focused on Erina dropping her spaghetti
Robert Brown
We barely got any chapter focus on other characters anymore. I hope we actually got to see some of the other macthes.
Kayden Gray
I got lucky this week.
>Souma and Kuga are about to head into the mountains with the baldies >Kuga is taking his time with preparations >Souma asks what he's buying and Kuga says he shouldn't underestimate the mountains in winter >Souma says he just wants to get going >Kuga says it takes a lot of time to procure equipment, climb up and down the mountain, and besides it's not guaranteed they'll meet a bear >S: But this is the only shot I have at beating Hayama... >remembers Hayama's specialty at the Election finals >Kuga asks what he wants to see anyway >S: Ayu
>since ayu smell strongly like watermelon when they eat moss, Souma figures strong-smelling bear must have grown off a particular environment and food >he really wants to know everything about the bear before the match >baldies arrive with a ton of luggage >two grim-looking Matagi will accompany them >Souma gets changed on the charter bus >insulated underwear, arctic clothes, knit hat, gloves, goggles, crampons >Souma isn't sure he needs all this and Kuga says he's underestimating the mountain again >gets to the nearest mountain and Souma is staggered >a powerful wind is continuously blowing down the mountain, almost like a blizzard
Wyatt Barnes
Tsukasa would be so god tier if I was a /u/fag, but since I'm not, she can never be my waifu.
Michael Gomez
>Tsukasa That's Alice you fag
Angel Gonzalez
If this were any other shonen I would agree with you 100%, but this is the only one I can think of with really visible progression in a character relationship and it's spanned the entire series.
Pic related is some of the most blatant as fuck romantic imagery I have seen in any shonen and it came up like 6 chapters ago, Tsukuda seems completely intent on progressing this as it looks right now, he could for sure stall on it if he wanted but that'd be really contrary to his writing so far. If he does do that I'm probably out at that point, it'd be a pretty clear sign to me the writing was stagnating.
