this whole show was a beautiful showcase of the benefits of real synergy in design. Had any one element of the shown been any worse the rest would have fallen apart without it, from design to writing to plot and animation. The soundtrack pulled more than its fair share of the weight, especially in some of the middle sections.

The fact that he got jail time at all should be enough to tell you that japan is pretty fuckin' harsh on any crime, period.
