Sorry to disappoint you, but actually this is the first Shinkai's movie that I'm willing to watch. Not because muh scenery porn, but for the animation itself.

Even with low quality dvd rip, I could identify some of key animators in it. I just could re-watch it in cinema / buy the BD to confirm my guess.

Scanning through the only watermark that's always present is the YN-009 and Property of TOHO Co. Neither one is really intrusive. The big problem with the rip is that the video quality is complete ass. Shinkai's greatest strength as a director has always been the visuals and this copy completely shits all over them.
