So which one was the best [repeating timeline] story?

Hakomari by some distance.
Out of those Hakomari and Beautiful Dreamer
Also this manga is miles better than shit like re:zero, madoka, and etc
Not really a repeating timeline but it's close enough.
Obviously the endless 8
that show is overrated shit. only the last 2 episodes were alright.
Hakomari > Steins;Gate > Higurashi >>> Index > Re:Zero > Groundhog day
I don't consider MLA or Madoka real time loop stories in the same style since you don't see most of them and don't follow the protag through them all, you're just told about them later on. Haven't read AYNIK but the movie was pretty decent.
For idiots like yourself, sure thing.
You just heap praise on any garbage Kyoani shits out, no matter how bad.
Oh, and Endless Eight is at rock bottom, didn't even notice that. Haven't watched the others yet because I'm an uncultured swine.
Every episode is great by itself, but the last two retroactively make everything into a coherent masterpiece.
>All that trash above Groundhog Day
Please stop
Saike's pretty average, I don't know why its small group of supporters want to fellate it so hard.
all you need is kill
I dropped it at episode 1.
1.25x speed for the sake of art is the truest definition of pretentious.
It's a comfy movie but all around not a very good time travel story. I do consider it above Haruhi though.
Groundhog Day hands down
RE:ZERO DUH
>all the plebs in this thread who have never heard of pic related
Peasants, all of you.
Even when handicapped by short length, it's still far better than most in the OP's pic.
Madoka Magica > Steins;gate > Re:Zero > Muv-luv > Higurashi > Haruhi > Hakomari > Index
Haven't watched/read AYNIK or UY so can't tell you about those.
Well what the fuck is it?
Probably some twilight zone episode or adaptation of a book that I know but don't remember a the moment.
How does it feel to be retarded?
What do you disagree with?
>it's a madokafag/shinbofag
>re:zero and fucking muv-luv above hakomari
>endless eight above anything
It's not so much that I disagree, it's that you're genuinely stupid. Sorry, but it's true.
...
Is this that French one about the guy from the future dystopia jumping back to a memory from his childhood of a guy getting shot and then it turns out it's him getting shot? I don't remember loving it or anything.
>Is this that French one about the guy from the future dystopia
No.
>higurashi episode
>dear you starts playing
you're totally making world better by keeping it to yourself
Hakomari has an interesting plot, at least in the final volume, but it reads like the average light novel. I read a lot of books so the juvenile writing style stands out a lot and I can't stand it.
I enjoyed Muv-luv a lot, but I read it over 5 years ago and I've become a lot more critical since then. It's absolutely possible that I'd think it was shit if I read it today.
I won't deny being a Madokafag. Madoka and Steins;gate are both fantastic.
I know it's hip to hate Re:Zero now that it's gotten popular. I actually can't stand how the fanbase overplays it's depth and thematic quality so much. But it's still a good anime.
You're right about endless eight though. Hakomari is better than that at least. I guess I was biased because I like Haruhi in general.
I wonder why criticism against Hakomari is considered the greatest sin of all on Sup Forums? I don't think I've ever seen anyone say anything but praise towards it.
Alright alright, it's Shadow Play.
Looks like a rip off of Un condamné à mort s'est échappé
Yeah of course.
Twilight Zone. Knew it had to be that one.
Says the guy who thinks Hakomari is any good, that's hilarious
>Index
When will this meme stop? Everyone know that is just a shitty chunni LN, that should have ended years ago.
Re;Zero > the rest
Simply because it addresses the suffering of having lost relationships and everyone but him remembering how close they became. Julius and Ferris will never be as close to him as they were before he died in this loop
Fuck off idiot.
>Hakomari has an interesting plot, at least in the final volume, but it reads like the average light novel. I read a lot of books so the juvenile writing style stands out a lot and I can't stand it.
this. it had a good idea but the execution was really horrible, it turned into average light novel tripe. within the first few chapters: "your crush's panties are blue xD"
Go back to sucking hipster cock
You sound pretty stupid. That would explain why you're completely incapable of conducting a proper critique.
>I read a lot of books so the juvenile writing style stands out a lot and I can't stand it.
I've read several LNs before and actual books. What do you mean by 'juvenile writing style' that's indicative of LNs?
i'm not a critic, that's why. professional critics are completely capable of conducting a proper critique and are paid for it. i'm just an user putting my opinion out there
Never bring up the OVA ever again.
hey thats the guy from the office
>average Re:zerofag.jpg
Do you honestly think none of those others address that same topic, and with much more depth? You're just showing your own ignorance. Do you think Re:Zero is a remarkable milestone of any kind in time loop stories?
wat dis user?
