I liked part two. But to say BT Joseph had power or ability over basically the entire cast of JoJos when his main feat was to use a good hamon conductor after getting his 4D chess setup to work is an overstatement. Powerful, but doesn't have straight up power in a fight.

Joseph would fucking murk any other jojo without stands, and most likely would come out on top over the stands through sheer ingenuity. NO other Jojo has the mind that Joseph had. He outwitted FUCKING ANCIENT GODS and fucked up all 3 of them himself.

Jonathan couldn't even take 1 vampire down himself so don't even bring him up. Joseph would have beaten Dio the second he was created just like he did with Straits.

What's the status of the SDC BDs? Do they censor the home-release versions to get rid of the gore shots? I can't recall whether they did for Season 1, but I remember the violence being one of my favorite parts of parts 3+, so it's really annoying for them to black it out so unartistically.

Jonathan straight up onehanded Jack the Ripper to death while Joseph couldn't kill Straits with CAPE OF GRENADES and had to reflect his own Stingy Eyes back at him to weaken him severely

Neither of these specifically involved him using brute force to beat someone like Jonathan did, impressive feats nonetheless.

So I just started Part 3 with the Stands and all.

Is it going to be better? Hamon was more fun and original, now it just feels like Pokemon battles with the typical shounen fights and explanation in-between.

Yes it gets much better than "manly pokemon". If you're really this new, get out before they spoil you. I watched Part 3 without knowing Dio's true power, then once it finished immediately read everything. So remember, READ THE MANGA

It's good now. Part 3 is pretty good even if you don't like Jotaro. It's the first part with stands as you know, understand that some of them will be boring/shit cause Araki was a noob at them. Overall the fights are good, the quality of fights/stands picks up from there on.

If it takes that long, it'll be well worth the wait.
