There's still no guarantee we won't learn more about Jesus in JJL though. We didn't learn about the origins of the Arrows in the Part they were introduced in so it might be the same for SBR/JJL. Since Araki has seemingly planned out JJL from the beginning he might have had some things he purposefully held out on revealing in SBR specifically as plot threads to tie the later Parts into it.

Avdol is an Arab and Pucci is naturally dark skinned as evidenced by the shading in the manga but Shueisha decided HEY THIS CHARACTER IS SLIGHTLY DARKER SKINNED THAN THE REST OF THE CAST LETS MAKE HIM FUCKING BLACK AS THE ACE OF SPADES DESPITE NOT BEING BLACK IS LITERALLY AN IMPORTANT PART OF HIS BACKSTORY and it stuck in almost all of the other coloured media.

I'm pretty sure that Araki isn't some helpless button who sat there and sobbed while evil Shueisha racebended his character into being black against his will. There were any number of times he could've spoken up about it, and he never did. And Pucci is visibly black in figures, games etc too.

Araki tends to color black characters extremely pale, look at Avdol here. Doesn't mean he's white, even though the white characters are coloured pretty much the same as him. And while the backstory of Pucci and Wes involved some weird race shit, the thing that enraged them was a supposedly black guy being in a relationship with a white girl rather than just Wes being supposedly black.
