Is the holy see praying to idea of evil or the 4 kings?

The new anime is more exciting and engaging than the previous two adaptations.

Ganishka did nothing wrong

I had finished reading through Berserk weeks ago, but I only just remembered this part of the story and thought it was odd. Is the Berserk earth in a mix of time periods? Considering that photography was only a thing starting in the 19th century yet Berserk is more of a middle ages type world. How much technology or machinery is in their world?

Guts has a mechanic hand with a gun, is not very historically accurate

They had false hands back in those days, it's as though the had is fully functional.
And it's not a gun it's a repeating crossbow.

His arm cannon makes sense though. Its just a tiny cannon attached to the nub of his arm. The magnetic hand bit is a bit odd, but not too out of the realm of possibility.

It says inlaid picture not a photograph.
Google them, they look really nice and required a lot of work.

Ah, that makes way more sense. I told myself to google that before I made the post so I don't look stupid but forgot.

Berserk is more late Gothic/Renaissance than high Middle Ages. And portraits weren't invented with photography.

As far as technological inconsistencies go... Well there's magic, parallel dimensions and demons roaming the world too. So, there's that.

i dont know, but the symbol of the hawk on the spiral looks suspiciously similar to the brand of sacrifice

...

You'd rather have 10 threads a day that die before reaching 40 posts?

That was definitely a good "Oh shit!" moment

...

Might as well have multiple small Berserk threads a day. There are usually 2 anons trying to start a Berserk general at a time.

Might as well not have a Berserk thread every day, with how fucking awful they've become.

And they do it by asking very specific questions, and when they have an answer others will leave the thread. And when it dies, another one shows up soon after and it starts over again.

...

Is Berserk unadaptable to animation due to Muira's extremely unique style and skill with kinetics, light and dark and motion blur or have jew animation companies just fucked it time and time again?

I hope the episode tomorrow is as good as the last two. Now would be an awful time to go back to episode one quality.

I think it's possible, but incredibly hard to do it justice, and the cost of doing it right gets too high for companies

Dragonslayer looks retardedly long in this

...

Well, it was the first time Mirua had drawn it in action in years.

Even Miura fucks up sometimes.
Unless he exaggerates on purpose for a more powerful impression

True. Plus the actual size of the Dragonslayer is inconsistent. I don't really mind though.

...

That last frame is a great example of why i love Miuras art. You can see it in his face that he is both incredibly angry, and about to break into tears at the same time

I think a more focused movie or short could do ir right. Something like the arc with the Count or something. That could be a solid 45 minutes with really good animation.

I think CGI was the right direction to go for it (the video games always look pretty good and faithful) but they then fucked it up again with jewery.
It realy would need a hollywood level budget and Muira approving all designs and scenes

What are the ghosts even supposed to be and how is the light protecting him?

I get confused on what's a demon, apostle or monster.

They're literally just ghosts. Spirits of people killed that either were so evil they roam earth looking to be more evil, or were killed in a way that leaves them tied to this plane

The ghosts are spirits who can't come to accept that they're dead and they yearn for a body to inhabit in the physical realm, as stated by Skull Knight. One even takes over Guts for a brief moment.
Why they can't be in the sun idk, probably just some generic ghost stuff.

The minor evil spirits can't stand the sunlight and only come out at night.

Skull Knight is so badass.
He threatens a whole bunch of apostles and they just fuck off.

He regularly kills like 10 apostles at a time every time they hassle him. The dude is like the Grim Reaper for Apostles.

That also gives you an idea of how powerful Zodd must be that he can take him on, though Rickert says Skully is better.

Zodd is also probably one of the oldest living apostles.

I forget, have Guts and SK ever teamed up at full power before? I can imagine the apostle tears.

Maybe, but only if the older ones have died off.
We know he is 300+ years old, and the Eclipse happens every 216 years, and there are now 5 members of the God Hand, so there has been apostles for at least 1080 years now.

Only at Floras place, but they both had their hands full. SK was fighting Zodd, and Guts was losing to Grunbeld until he got the Berserker Armor

Am I the only one who wants Zodd to join up with Guts because it'll be a more thrilling fight to go against Griffith than to go against Guts with the entire Neo-Band of the Hawk at his side

Guts was also still injured from the fight with Slan. Think he might have stood a chance against Grunbeld without the armor if he was at full strength?

Father Miura has already blessed us with this, user.

Probably.

Pic related gave me a faint hope that he may have an happy ending
