Ambien/zolpidem puts you to sleep but at the minor cost of short-term amnesia. I have seen more than one patient who tried driving to work while sleeping and woke up when they crashed. It's normal to forget the first half hour of the morning the night after taking it.

They've repurposed a Parkinson's drug as a sleep aid? I'll be damned.... I'll stick to Ambien when I need to sleep. It's the only drug I've ever taken that made my computer's keyboard turn into a pile of mulch when I was trying to write an e-mail.
Probably mixed a few different benzos. You'd pull a Tiger simply by combining the zolpidem with one of the -azepams if you don't have a high tolerance. Throw EtOH in the mix and then you get to be in a hilarious dash cam video.
