I don't feel like this series can afford to use up valuable pages on side characters given that it's monthly and not all that popular, I think the last 3 have been without the MC (or at least the main male character) and it's a bit boring imo.

She's a youkai. Part of this story is the idea of a human in a relationship with a youkai and the things that come from that. Recently we've seen that there was a large amount of segregation going on and it looks like MC just fucked off to the Youkai side of the bridge and has been living there.
