Such an odd series. Took me 4 months to get through 12 episodes because some of the early ones are so boring. Glad I finished it though even if overall it wasn't anything spectacular.

Look, I can understand messing with the timeline to give the viewer valuable contextual information at the very start that would be awkward to introduce in a chronological manner, but what benefit does he viewer derive from the MC knowing less and less about the Fairies towards the end?

I like them both almost equally. One of the shows great strengths is characterisation. Of course the MC is gonna receive more screentime though so there's more time for characterisation.
