To be fair i'm okay with how Mirage in 1st cour, sadly the 2nd cour's writing of her is complete wasted(not just her of course).

In the first cours, she was "okay", but after the first few episodes her rivalry with Hayate was dropped and because of that she started to not interact much with other characters and slip into irrelevance. Now they're trying to make her a central character, but with only 2 episodes left, it's hard for anyone to now see her as a major player.
