Last time I tried to do these things, a woman who I dated for almost half a year falsely accused me of rape. Not in a criminal setting, because she would've been laughed out of court, but in a college setting where the burden of proof was on me as the accused.!I wound up clearing myself of the allegations but it set me back ten thousand dollars. Even worse than that, it wore me down inside as she dragged it on for another six months. A year later I changed schools because I could no longer handle waking up every morning and wondering whom amongst my friends believed I was a rapist and a monster. I was diagnosed with PTSD about a month ago.
Tldr; yes it really is too much to ask.
