It might be the best and most loyal adaptation which means it has the same weaknesses as the original LN (like Kyon freaking out at Asakura in the beginning; he should be more used to weird shenanigans at that point, especially when hinted by sick Taniguchi).
Yorozuya yo Eien Nare is by far the best anime movie with an original story. Gorilla really outwrote himself on that one and just like in Disappearance, Sugita keeps the ball rolling with his great acting.
