>Code Geass second OP

This is why 2nd OPs are usually shit. This needs to stop

>OP reuses footage from the first episode

>second op is the same song with different footage
They did the right thing by not changing database in LH.

>second op continues from the first op

>people who watch more than the few seconds you didn't skip when jumping ahead of the OP.

I really dislike OP and ED that contain clips from the show. I also hate fucking slideshows.

This never happens

OP is just random episode scenes stitched together with extra scrolling text and whatnot.

>Hating on groovin' magic

>Contains clips that hasn't happened yet
>Contains spoilers

Groovin' magic is fucking bomb, but I think he just doesn't like the type of OP video it has attached to it.

>OP contains spoilers/spoils future emotional moments

at least, I think. Haven't finished it yet.

Only SZS did this right.

It happens in Gurren Lagann.

I've seen OPs with spoilers, but I can't think of one that uses future in-episode footage (outside of transformation/attack stock footage).

I like it when an OP takes old OP footage and does something with it. Like having the scene continue, or revealing something that was shadowed before, etc.

But just reusing animation whole-cloth is boring Gundam Seed Destiny's OPs were pretty bad for this, even though some bits were slightly updated each time.

DxD New did this, it was neat.

Too bad the song was shit.

Hanasaku Iroha

>new OP song has references to an old OP song

Eureka Seven AO might have been bad, but I loved how the 2nd OP had riffs from the E7 first OP.

>OP contains pages from the manga
>OP contains hidden spoilers that only people who know the source material can understand

Even for shows that are anime-original, I love hidden spoilers in OPs. Fake "spoilers" in OPs can be fun too if done right. The only example I can recall off hand is the Deen FSN had things in the OP from UBW that never actually happened in it.

Miname ke 1st and 4th OP

>Anime original has spoiler in the OP
You know the one

>series changes OP every 12/13 episodes
>major change in the show doesn't line up with a new OP hitting
>OP hits early, spoiling the end of the current arc
or
>arc changes after the OP change, leaving a very outdated OP for many episodes

Anything else besides Jojo/Mob Psycho?

>OP is twice longer than usual OP's to save animation budget and music budget

>OP has footage of events that never happens in the manga or anime.

>OP's theme is fun as fuck to listen to and makes a great addition to a running/workout playlist

>characters running in OP

>OP is making fun of the show itself (e.g: being serious when the show is ridiculous af)

>OP song is nice
>full version sucks

Man, fuck the SEED OPs. I blame character slideshow OPs being more prominent in the 2000s because of them.

Plus they were poor planned. These aired with episode 14. But Lacus and the Freedom don't show up for another 15 episodes where the OP already changes. The exact same thing happens in Destiny's second OP with the Destiny and Destroy.

>Full version is literally the first verse copy pasted

>OP is just a slideshow of still frames because the studio couldn't complete the animation in time

>OP has footage from the episodes
>OP is stillsland

Literal cancer and disappointment

>op is this abomination
youtube.com/watch?v=zp3jvJkv5fo

Holy shit one of the things I hated anout CG. The first OP was so good so seeing those abomination OPs later on was disappointing

The other ops had alright songs and would've been fine if it wasn't just speeding up the same clips.

>MKL stick his MK dildo up his ass at the tiniest mention of a series that whore worked in

Did they ever fix that?

>>Second OP reuses footages from the first OP

>fans headwank about them
>bonus points if a cat is involved

>Op or ED contains spoilers.
>You don't realize the gravity of the spoiler until it happens with context

>Second OP song worse than the first

And I just learnt enough words to sing along...

The problem with Outgrow was that it was a shit song, and not just because it reused footage from the first OP.

>guitar solo

>final episode
>OP has sound effects

>ED is just a screen with credits

>4 OPs
>same 7 clips used over and over again

>second OP is better than the first OP

>1st OP is amazing
>dreading when it changes
>FULL VERSION WHEN?
>2nd OP completes the song
>mfw
why doesnt this happen more often?

Toradora

where DID it happen?

This happens?

>2nd OP is absolutely shit so I mute it and play the first one instead
somebody else does this?

>Sad/death
>Cue ED with black screen and a melodramatic song

I may be one of the few that hates sound effects in OP. Ruins the song.

>everyone pretends to hate the second OP

I liked O2. First one is a meme song anyway

Only if it R2

Yahari s2 OP is the only exception.

>meme song

Kill la Kill

But Colors is good

>sad/death
>cue OP/ED that's happy go lucky and no longer fits the series
